K-Mart was massive for me.

Remember thinking oh thats how you are supposed to play basketball.

Super aggressive, and I went from the odd rebound to grabbing like 8+ a game as a regular dude.

Jacob Evans reportedly headed to the Timberwolves in the D'Angelo Russel/Andrew Wiggins trade.

Except Evans wasn't in SoCal, he was in SF/Oakland, where it's chilly a lot of the year.

It should be interesting to see how this develops for him. Steve Kerr was trying to develop him into a point guard, which wasn't really a crazy idea, but at his size and speed it might not be the best position for him.

Sadly, Timberwolves are loaded with guys with about the same skill set. He's going to need someone in his corner.

Pretty random but Melvin Levitt posted on the Bearcat Jam (TBT team) Facebook page that Cheikh Mbodj was named to the "team of the week" in the top French league in their last week of play before the COVID saga.

He's definitely someone who I forgot about over the years. Didn't realize he blocked 2.6 shots per game in his senior year. We were #7 overall nationally that year in blocked shots.

Jarron hasn't seen much action yet, so far scoreless in about 15 minutes. He's on the same team as Kenyon Jr, who is putting up 19 pts, 12 reb, 2 blk.

Trevon Scott is averaging 11 pts and 5 reb in 32 minutes per game.

I never realized that Coreante DeBerry played in the G League. He played 12 games back in 2016/17. In total UC has sent 8 guys to the G League.

Gabe Madden to Utah.... so much for being homesick

Not the worst landing spot. Their two best players from last season are in the portal so it seems like there's a pretty open competition for minutes. Saunders could very well end up there with him.

Utah has a new coach, bringing Craig Smith over from Utah St. A pretty major roster turnover isn't surprising.

Zach Harvey will be playing for UC...

...Santa Barbara.

Reports out this morning that he has committed to the Gauchos.

Bigger step down than I imagined for him. Big West is pretty terrible. 7 of their 11 teams are outside the top 200 and only UC Santa Barbara is in the top 100.

Two of his old teammates from Prolific Prep are there. That was likely a big deciding factor.

They return 2 starters and a 6th man that averaged 11 ppg from a team that went 22-5 and won the Big West last season (also finished 58th in Ken Pom).

They've won 20+ games for the past 4 seasons. They're a good program in a bad conference.

I would be interested to see what teams were recruiting him.
