Have to worry about UCLA if we get there. The 1st round is going to give us all we can handle. Getting a top 30 team in the 1st round isn't exactly what we were looking for.

I just wish we didn't get shipped out so far west every year.

It's just $500 last minute tickets plus incredibly expensive hotel and incredibly expensive seats despite how empty the arena will be... so if you just want to go yourself that's starting at just the low low price of $1100

Remember when every one thought I was crazy when I said our top 50 wins and our conference capped our ceiling ?

Yea. This was even worse than I thought.

Jacob you asked me why I said it mattered if Minnesota got a 5 seed. This is why

Round trip from KC is about $1,000 just for the flights.

Can't believe they got a better seed than SNU. It's criminal.

it was ranked 36th toughest, it's going to be very hard for us to do better than that.

Couldn't we improve it by just replacing the terrible teams with a couple teams like Dayton? Teams that are top 50ish. Not saying a whole schedule of them, maybe 2-3 more

you have to get a certain amount of home games and teams have to want to play us home and home. its not as simple as just telling Dayton to play us.

Game I think is late Wednesday night for KState and WF. Then they play Friday in California. We need to come out firing and bury them early.

Bright side: Who ever is scouting for UC can get a live look as its just a drive up from Dayton.

We need to get to California early. Like I'd like to be there on Tuesday morning. Find some to let us use their gym and get used to the time change.

I get its hard but think it could be improved, if not, it will be hard to ever get a high seed

Wake Forest is #30 in Kenpom
Kansas State is #29

This says its a 6 vs 11 game, but on paper its very much more like a 8 vs 9 or at worst 7-10.

I generally like the Kenpom metric and they both list these teams as top 30 and Harvard was 32 when they beat us.

If K State and WAKE were seeded based on KenPom they'd be 8 seeds and we'd be exactly what we got.. a 6

this has been talked about in other threads but the OOC isn't the problem. No matter who we schedule OOC, if the rest of the conference continues to be this pathetic it will not matter.

We had 3 top 50 wins and SMU had 2 (both us). That simply cannot ever happen. The conference cannot have 2 top 50 teams in it. Power 6 schools have no reason at all to schedule us, the conference must take care of each other.

Our future fate depends on memphis, temple, and uconn being good. if they fail we will fail with them.
