Lets look at the other 6 seed matchups compared to ours:
UC: 29 or 30th kenpo team
SMU: 56th or 61st
Maryland: 40th
Creighton: 37th

So we easily have the hardest 11 seed matchup. Like its not even close. SMU has the easiest.

Lets look how far we play from home:
UC: 2300 miles
SMU: 1092 miles
Creighton: 1570 Miles
Maryland: 859 miles.

We got Shafted on location. We got shafted on the the opponent.

the funniest thing to me is BOTH of the 11 seeds we might face are good. They must have figured one way or the other they wanted us getting f'ed, didn't want to leave it to chance.

I have no idea how KState is Top 30 in KenPom. They really are not good. Trust me on that. But I get your overall point. Bc while they might not be good, the other options are much worse than them.

Still not sure how 15 loss Vanderbilt is a 9 seed.

Screw the NCAA. They continue to make this about the power 5 conferences only. And they justify it by loses by lower conferences in the tournament, but they rig it to begin with. Maryland as a 6 seed was seen higher than us for sure since we got shipped out to cali and they play in Florida. Lots to hate about this bracket in my opinion.

Yeah, how was Maryland higher than us. They were terrible

#10 Wichita State -6.5 vs #7 Dayton. Lol.

was always going to happen and kentucky is one of a few teams they wouldn't be a favorite against in the 2nd round too. They are 8th on kenpom, committee needs to get this top 50 win crap out of here. top 50 from a calculation that is awful to begin with.

Went on a UCLA message board, and found out Lonzo Ball injured his thumb in the Pac-12 quarterfinal, played through it but struggled, and Tj Leaf has been struggling lately due to a chronic ankle injury. Obviously, we have to beat Wake/Kstate first but I think if we play physical, we can really disrupt their offensive rhythm. And if Ball and Leaf aren't 100 percent, anything could happen.

I truly think we beat either k state or wf. Neither is very good. I think our won at ISU is better then the Baylor wins for KSU and WF has not beat anyone away from home

Wake Forest maybe a matchup nightmare for us:
38.7% from 3
8th in kenpom Offense
45th in TO%

I really hope k State upsets them

Not sure it'd really be an upset considering KState is better in KenPom and is favored.

KState reminds me a little of us last year. Guys who try really hard but just flat out don't have the talent to beat good teams with any consistency. Always finding a way to lose.

Wake would be good practice for the UCLA matchup.

Either way, we should win. At some point, if we want respect for ourselves and the AAC, we need to do something in the tournament. Tired of our seasons ending on a 2 game losing streak.

VEGAS SAYS 3 lowest rated teams to be selected for the tournament all from the Big East:
Xavier
Providence
Marquette

And you could see it coming too, no way that conference deserved 7 teams. 4 was stretching it. UC and SMU finish above everybody not named Nova.
