Oh well, we needed a big body to eat a few minutes and fouls. Just hope other guys play well enough that Sorolla only gets 5-10 minutes per game. Or who knows, maybe he will play better than expected.

Now the last piece is the shooting, ball handling, scoring wing. I would sign up Jaevin or Mack on the spot or wait for a late transfer portal guy. I would not use the 13th scholly on someone who can't make a big impact THIS YEAR. In other words...not a Sorolla type or likely any other recruit we have signed so far.

I like the long term potential for MAW and Davenport but for this year I don't think they are the answer. I also think McNeal and Sorolla will fill some roles we needed filled.

Still no dancing bearcat. Is it possible this is Nsoseme coming back? After he declared to transfer we haven't really heard about any possible destination for him and from a UC perspective he would be a much better guy to have than Sorolla.

The other guy who might be possible is Tevin Mack of Alabama. There was talk of a super secret guy being a possibility and Mack is likely that guy. We couldn't talk about him because he didn't declare as a transfer until after he withdrew from the NBA draft.

Just throwing out ideas because I really hope it isn't Sorolla.

Exactly. Why can't we get Lebron James level talent at this point of the recruiting season?! I just dont get why our staff isn't doing more!

It was 700+ kids in transfer portal. We didn't get not one top 200 transfer and we had best situation to get major minutes. It's still unsigned 2019 top 50 transfers. Three former 5 star guards out to get right now and we not in on none of them? Isn't open offense with 30+ minutes every guard dream? Not to mention at top 25 school with BRAND NEW ARENA. I would've rather signed the top sit out guys than signed one year scrubs. 7-8 deep and load up on next year class.

Yep agreed. Need to stop worrying about past 5 star recruits that were available that's all they are...gimme a name??? No Zions or you would have heard about them. There's a ton out there because a ton are nothing for whatever reason when they make the jump into college. Remember Jermaine Lawrence? He was a very high rated 5 star and was completely worthless. Just give me a 3 star kid that's a legit baller.

I hear you but it’s harder than simply saying we have minutes available and a brand new arena. They have to have interest in coming here. Yeah, I wish we would have gotten a few big names but we didn’t. Still too early to start freaking out. Also, it looks like the other Cumberland is coming. That’s a good get.

You still go need a PG or two next year anyway. This was perfect opportunity to get couple highly ranked guys on board. Hell the #1 transfer period is still unsigned. I'm holding new coach to same standards I held Mick to, if we not getting top 150 recruits I'll rather a local kid get the scholarship. Brennen seems favor local area more than Mick so far I'll give him that. The two grad transfer spots unnecessary and should've been used on 2020 transfers.
