what evidence do you have that deberry is faster than Big Dave? What evidence do you have that says Lance wasn't leader of team? What evidence do you have that says I'm not a professional body language reader?

Mick's brother has a tendency to say these types of things. I thought he gave up twitter for a while because of this.
 
If we get him fine but I don't think mods complaining. 350 of comments have nothing to do with Graham.

He's a fan just like us. Everybody just want the best. Graham has 2x comments as rest of other commits. Quite frankly if he don't want to be here I don't want him.

I know by nature, recruiting tends to take many twists and turns. Doesn't it seem, however, that we always go after guys that have the craziest recruiting processes? Graham is a perfect example-where did Houston come from? I know Kelvin Sampson just got the job, but it is crazy just how many schools he was predicted to go to. He committed to NC St. in HS, he was a Mizzou lean for a while, he was predicted to go to UC for a while, he has wanted to go to UK but might not be able too, and there was that weird Florida State twitter thing also. Even though Obekpa dragged out his decision, at least we knew that it was pretty much between us and St. John's. This whole process with Graham has been crazy, I just want him to say where he is going so that we don't get stuck wasting a scholly on a Big Dave type of player.

Big dave was signed because we had no depth at the 5 especially with JJ still playing more of the 4 last year. I feel like if we swing and miss signing someone who can help us next year mick wont just waste the scholly. We have depth at every position which it feels like we have never had(although we are young)
 
For all we know, our coaching staff backed off of him. Either way, it hardly seems worth all the drama. I guess if he wants to visit/commit here then great. Otherwise lets pocket the scholly and start reeling in some 2015s this summer. Maybe Morman is better than Graham anyway.

Good point, but we are still two scholarships short of the limit, you have to think he will want to at least use one and pocket the other. I am hoping for a 5th year transfer at this point, as this team will need someone with some experience to help out our younger players.

Yea Im hoping for a 5th year too, But one that can contribute and brings some leadership and value. The problem is, the cupboard isnt very full right now. Or atleast with players showing interest in UC

Completely agree. We are not desperate at any position this year so we don't have to take a flyer on anyone. Having 2 open scholarhips at this time of the year is a luxury, and they will be judicious as how to use them. Team chemistry is also important, and I am sure this is a consideration when a scholarship is offered. There may be someone really talented (i.e. Graham) but the baggage associated with that individual may not be the best fit for the team. I trust the coaching staff to find the right fit or pocket the scholarships for the following year. A 5th year transfer is my best guess for a possible addition to the current roster, as this still opens a scholarship for 2015.

Wasnt Kromah for UConn a 5th year transfer from like GW or something? It seems like theres gotta be a decent A-10 type player out there who isnt good enough for the pros, but is good enough to help us a little.

I think it would be hard for a 5th year to come in and be an immediate leader. The foundation for leadership is strong in this program and I am confident someone will step up. I would be happy with a 5th year who could contribute some offense if the staff decides to go in that direction.

That said, if they did indeed back off Torian, I hope they have some good news with another 2014 or even a 2015 prospect.
