Now hearing UC getting more and more heavily involved.

It would help balance the classes. As of now the only juniors next year are Shaq and DeBerry.

As of now next year looks like:

Four Freshman: Moore, Clark, Strickland, Morman
Three Sophomores: Caupain, Johnson, Lawrence
Two Juniors: Thomas, DeBerry
Two Seniors: Guyn, Sanders

And two open scholarships. With only two seniors, Mick may want to hold one of the scholarships for 2015.

Do you have a link or anything? Not necessarily calling you out; I'm just curious where you're getting your info. A lot of people will say vague things like this and it ends up meaning diddly squat.

No link just specific information I have gotten I will stick to what I have heard and that Missouri is the front runner but still open because he's only taken 2 visits. My personal feeling is if mick really really wants this guy he can get him.

I have to disagree Jeff about Allen but as in torians case I think the fact he didn't commit after he visited Missouri with so much mutual interest showed a lot. And just because we offer someone doesn't mean anything 75% of the time you offer a bunch of guys and even most of them end up visiting in torians case he hasn't even been on campus yet.

I wholeheartedly agree Jeff. Staff does not think they need another big at this point. They need shooters. If a scholarship goes to 2014 guy it will be at the guard position. Aside from Torian I would not be surprised to see the cats use one scholarship on a transfer and pocket the other for 2015. Cincy basketball has great momentum right now and that usually reflects in recruiting. Could pay bigger dividends in the transfer market or in the 2015 class compared to 2014.

Might be a good opportunity to grab a 1 year rental backcourt player. Will be interesting to see what guys are available this offseason, I think Mick will be aggressive in trying to land one...

A lot of different opportunities. Juniors who have graduated, coach gets fired and players let out of their NLOI, true transfers...... never know what kind of whale Cincy may be able to land.

Exactly. Two years ago right now Montrezl Harrell was signed with Virginia Tech.

Then Seth Greenberg gets fired and the rest is history.

I stumbled upon bearcattalk about a month ago, and I decided it was time to join in!

I've been hearing the same thing about Mizzou being the team with the edge on Graham. But they took on Cameron Biedscheid as a transfer from Notre Dame right after Graham made his official visit. They only have two seniors this year and have already signed two high school recruits. Wouldn't they have to lose both Clarkson and Brown to the NBA to make room for Graham? IMO, I think we might be the front man for Graham barring a UK offer.

UC has gotten back involved since his charges were dropped. The indicator will be if he comes in for a visit.

jeff would be surprised if KY offered. I can't see the Harrison twins bolting for the NBA and I think Young will return as well. Will be hard for Graham to see serious minutes at KY.

Take this for what it's worth, I talked to someone we'll say "close" to the program who told me Graham was texting with Mick the entire ride home after we beat Louisville, he also said that he's not interested in UK b/c of the way they've treated him he feels like he's their back up plan. Supposedly he really likes UC, so we will see.

But again take it with a grain of salt, I'll believe it after he makes his decision.

Dan Cronin (Mick's Brother) hinted last night that we will sign "Jucos best scoring wing" just hasnt happened "yet". He obviously is referring to Graham. Have heard similar things so I guess I would say where there is smoke......

Hmmm. That's pretty cool. I totally missed that. The texting after the Louisville game is good to hear, but also pretty long ago. That was January. If this were a day or two ago, I'd be more excited.
