Caupain wasn't too happy. SK and JJ are obviously the leaders of this team, but Caupain has been getting more vocal as the season progresses. I think he will lead this team the next 3 seasons.

Honestly I am not impressed with Memphis at all. I feel like we should be up at least 10 points. If we can cut down our turnovers and get "good" offensive possessions we would be money.

Very nice first half.
All 3 freshmen looking very good. I love that Jermaine Lawrence is being aggressive. I think he's starting to regain his confidence. I might have been wrong about Kevin Johnson's shooting. His 3 percentage in high school was subpar, but he's really knocking them down the past 5 or 6 games. Very happy about Sanders finding his stroke too. If he can knock down the 3 consistently, he will continue to be a valuable contributor.
Kilpatrick still not impressing me in big games. He's played better in the 2nd half against better teams though, so I expect him so step up.

Man I dont know how these guys will develop the rest of this year but so excited for the future of our 3 freshmen. The reason we are winning right now. Love the toughness out of Rubles and Shaq so far as well.

Memphis made 8 lay-ups/dunks...that is 16 of their 26 points. If Cincinnati's front court can remain engaged on defense, I like our chances...

I gotta say when any of our 3 freshman are on the floor I am not nervous what so ever.
Great way to end the half. Showed incredible toughness. KJ, Shaq, and JL were huge. Just wish Shaq could have hit his free throws. These are the Bearcats we have come to know and love over the past 20 some years. Tough, physical, and don't give an inch. Let's tighten some things up in the second half and get out of Memphis with a win.

That was the biggest shocker of the first half for me. Very selfish play. I am sure he will get an earful at half if he hasn't already. We can't win with SK doing that kind of thing. I'm at a loss for words on that play.
Besides that I am pleased. Because of the way we play help D we are going to give up some layups and easy shots. In the first half we gave up more than usual but it's a good team. The D plan is working.
I am still on the KJ train...want to see more! We had a lot of deflections. Up 1 at half. I couldn't ask for a lot more.
