Why in the hell is Bishop inbounding the ball late? Seriously, he is the worst person to inbound the ball. Didn't we learn this last year not to give this dummystick the ball to inbound late in the game. I mean all you have to do is let ANYONE touch the ball and the game is over! Instead he throws a full-court bomb that no one had a chance to touch! My god I can't wait until these seniors are GONE!

because hes our highest basketball "Iq" guy. ummm uhHHoHHH, whats that say about this teams bball IQ. just take the ball and chuck it at some clowns leg. unreal.

Bishop made at least two BAD passes in the 2nd half. Yikes. Is he a freshman?????

Is it the coach or the players! IMO it is the players! Only person not scared to attack the rim is Killa! Bichop is not a Beast player! Wilks doesn't have bball IQ! Gates is Gates! When this senior class leave IMO we will be OK!

Is anyone else wanting Yancy to get significantly less minutes? I mean even Doug G commented on his poor footwork on defense, he is so bad it actually HURTS our team defense. His offense is very mediocre, I would rather see JJ and Biggie get more of his minutes. Also Wilks is so bad mentally its not even funny!

The sky is falling the sky is falling!!!! :D

A road win is a road win... yes there was a let down in the second half but I think a large part of that was the fact that DePaul went out of their minds from the perimeter. There were some lapses in defense but the Blue Demons made a lot of tough shots. No doubt they need to clean some things up, but never the less they escape with the win and all is well in my book.

Yancy didn't inspire any faith tonight with his play. Right now this team is in fact better with Biggie in the lineup at the 5. Killa came to play and save for a few overzealous moments here and there he was exceptional. Larry was terrible tonight, took some uncharacteristically bad shots. Cash played a solid game, nothing exceptional.

They need to come home and get ready for an important couple home games now. Must beat St. Johns and UofL.

That may have been the worst last 5 minutes of college basketball I've seen in a long time. A How To: Blow a Win against the worst team in the conference.

I don't care if the Bearcats win by 1 or 100 every game. Just win. A win is a win, especially on the road. By beating Depaul, the Bearcats essentially eliminated any chance at a bad loss (until the conference tournament possibly) on the resume. The only other game is Providence but they are at least decent. Losing to Depaul would have been the first nail in the coffin for an NCAA Tourney berth. Now, with the win, the Bearcats are back above .500 in the league and controlling their own destiny. I'll take it. They have to beat St. Johns this weekend. If they do, they will be 7-5 in the league with the standings advantage over St. John's by beating them twice.

how can they write a how to blow a win when they didn't blow a win?
ponder that one

Depaul just came off a 4 point loss at Louisville and shot unusually well from 3point land tonight. Like Doug Gottlieb said. A road win is a road win. It don't have to be pretty. Over .500 in league play. Let's come home and get a couple. Disappointed in the second half, especially the last five minutes, but I'll take a road win any way I can get one. Like Thomas, Kilpatrick and Cash (for the most part). The offense became stagnant when Cash became comfortable starting it 10 feet behind the three point line. A win is a win and I'll take it. The team needed it sorely.

On a side note: Bishop looked disgusted and was shaking his head leaving the court. I love when I see body langauge from players that show they're not satisfied.

On another note: Did anyone see Gates on the last time out? Smiling and joking with someone while Mick gave instruction? I know he had fouled out but you think a guy that played as poorly as he did would have had a more serious look to him. Again, body langauge.

Final note: A road win is a road win. Didn't matter if they won by 1 or 50 this win doesn't help much except to get them over .500 but a loss would have been devastating. They didn't lose, hope is alive.

Depaul put a scare in Louisville and WVU losing to both by 4. Even a blind squirrell gets a nut sometimes. When a team is 6-8 from 3 in a half with about 3 minutes left it is going to be hard to pull away from them. We know Purnell teams won't give up and play hard. Take it and run back to Cincy. Guys this isn't a beauty contest. If it was WVU would sit at home in March.

WVU only won by 2 at DePaul. They blew a 14 point lead with 10 minutes left and had hit to FT in the final seconds to hang on.

Despite the ridiculously hot shooting, and the great effort from DePaul. You miss 6 of your last 7 free throws..including 3 front ends of one and ones. That is called a serious Mental Breakdown. Did you not see that pass Bishop threw??

Would you have rather them lost? No one is saying, "WOW!! They were awesome tonight!" Bearcat fans are saying, "It wasn't pretty, but I'll take it."

Saw the whole game. I also saw Kilpatrick trip running to get it. We won! 7 teams with 4 or 5 losses in the BEast. That's because it is hard to win on the road. UC won, on to the next. You know what? If they win that one and miss 6 of their last 7 free throws I'll be happy too. The main thing is to just win baby.

I would have rather them not make the same mental mistakes they have been making for years. And maybe make a free throw for a change. Dude it was DePaul, I wasn't just expecting a win...I was hoping maybe they put a full game together and wanted to see how Yancy reacted. I guess he is more content laughing on the sidelines and flashing the peace sign when the camera catches sight of him.

Im sorry but "winning on the road in the BE is tough" say that any other game and its probably deserving. Depaul is a terrible basketball team. Winning at Depaul isnt tough, nor has it been tough all year. We looked pathetic in the 2nd half.
