I think LL is fair in his posts. What I don't like from some posters is that the negative comments over shadow the wins. That's where I have issue.

i.e. "Yeah, we won but we're going no where with Cronin!" If everybody sees all these limitations from the team and UC has won 19 games in spite of them, he must be doing something right.

After the much needed and important St. Johns win, "If St. Johns had hit their ft's we wouldn't have won" That's part of the game. Just as last night UC didn't hit theirs. You're not going to be perfect on most nights. The goal is to win. When criticism and negativity become bigger than the wins, and it does for some on here, there is an issue with the fans and not the team.

For once I'd like the wins to be more of a focus than the negativity. How do you expect recruits and parents to see the program in a positive light when you won't? Negativity hangs like a cloud over the program and it's not the players or coach that creates it. It's the fans.

Tell you what: I promise you that if UC beats UL, Marquette, and/or Georgetown fans will be more focused on the wins. A winless Depaul team: not so much.

Yes I am happy. DePaul has been playing better of late and is bound to get someone in league play. Just like they got Marquette last year and like they have almost got WVU and UL recently.

Am I happy with everything that happened last night? Nope. But, unlike some, I will not go overly crazy with the negative crap that some people want to perpetuate no matter what happened within the game. Some people have genuine concerns and they are warranted but some are all negative all day long and its time that people get called out on their bullshit. For christ sake the team won and is 19-5.

Yeah they're 19-5, but this and but that and OOC and blah blah blah. If UC basketball makes you that miserable when they are winning no less I think its reasonable to ask why you care in the first place....not saying that to you specifically but those people know who they are.

I am more than happy with a 3 point win at depaul. I am also concerned though.

You guys act like we were in a tight battle all night. We were up 10-17 the whole night and they went off from three.

If UC beats SJU, Louisvill and Georgetown at home you can put bubble talk to rest. They're in. Xaviers win last night, and UC's dominance of them, looks better with them sitting at 19 in todays rpi.

UC is 35th and live rpi currently projects them as a 6th seed. If they can maintain a mid 30's or lower rpi we can breathe much easier.

You can't speak for all the fans coming back. That is why you can't follow through on it. I think even if UC wins the next 3 games, fans will still not come back and they will still find excuses that UC didn't win by enough.

I think if UC beats St. John's Sunday the game against UofL will be a sellout or very near. At least 12,000. I seem to recall ticket sales were pretty strong for that game a month or so ago.
