But he is recruiting the guys who are shooting the ball. We haven't had a good shooter since Steve Logan. Mick is a terrible offensive coach. Always has been and always will be. Mack has out-recruited and out-coached him.
Recruiting has been fine the last few years. It has been ALL coaching this year. I'll give Mick a B+ for recruiting and D for coaching.

It's not that we are getting beat, it's how we are getting beat. 0 pride, you think Hicks/Max would let this type of effort happen? NOPE

We don't score when Troy walks it up the floor every single time. That isn't new. You HAVE to score to beat Xavier. That isn't new either. This is either a horrible plan by Mick bc he thought we could play slow as sh*t and win, or Troy just refuses to play real basketball. Either way, that garbage was supposed to be over this year...but in every "big" game we revert back to playing high school basketball.

They'll make the tourney and lose in the 1st or 2nd round. Same as the last 20 seasons...
Yeah and we'll lose bc we think you have to win a first to 50 rock fight in order to win a big game.

Every great coach in America started as an unknown coach. Until they get their chance, nobody knows them. Those kind of great lower division head coaches, or great assistant coaches are all over the college basketball landscape.

Zach Spiker, Russell Turner,Mark Pope, Kevin Keatts, Andrew Toole etc, etc. There are plenty of good, young coaches out there. Mick sucks rocks...

I rather make showing in March...apparently many hear would rather beat X and go to the NIT. This is the best X team in quite some time. If you thought city pride was gonna be the deciding factor you're delusional

NO ONE IS SAYING MARCH ISN'T IMPORTANT, but to suggest that it's okay to put up this type of effort is laughable.
You guys get blinded by city pride. Any loss to Xavier and we need a new coach or players? I thought march is what mattered

Exactly...and these are the types of teams you'll see in March. Not Morgan State or the Little Sister of the Poor.
