He didn't look like he could play the 3. His not bringing ball up court against D1 players

Maybe everyone should stop trying switch the natural position of the player that is coming in. You'd think after the success that Justin Jackson had this year after finally embracing his true college position rather than trying to be a stretch player for 3 years - we witnessed a pretty strong example of this. Clark is a 4. Moore is a 5. For some reason, everyone always obsesses over guys having position flexibility and dropping them down a spot on the line more so than just wanting them to be great at their natural position.

I agree and Clark looks lazier than yancy

I agree dp3113. Everyone wants to have the 6'8" guy who can shoot outside. But it just isn't realistic for most, nor is it smart at this level imo. I consider a 3 to be someone who should be able to knock down the open 3. Based on the free throws I've seen from Clark, I'm comfortable saying I don't want him shooting a single 3 pointer his 1st 2 seasons (and maybe not ever but we'll see what kind of player he starts to become as he gets older).

I watched. He kind of got lost at times. He took the ball out a lot after makes so he passed it in they pushed it score by the time he's at half court then coming back on D from people cherry picking. Seemed like he was just running up and down the court a lot. He had a couple nice dunks and did a few really good things. Didn't shoot very well from outaide. I think him getting with our weight trainers is going to be huge cutting fat and putting on muscle for him. Going to increase his speed and stamina. He is going to be a great player for us. Excited to see him grow and become a monster as a Bearcat he has potential to be insanely good! Lots of good players in that game too! Didn't seem to have as much confidence in himself as some of the players. If he can get that too and know that people can't stop him watch out.

Pumped for the future of our program.
where is the Johnson(#1) kid going?

Yea. The way I picture a 3 is just basically another guard. Especially how UC has been using the 3 for years now. So I have never thought of Clark as a 3...and never will. The guy is a 4. A power forward. Not a guard, not a wing. He isnt like shaq, doesnt play like shaq. I see him in the exact role as rubles played once he picks up his D. I didnt watch the game, but he was said to have taken a lot of pride in his Defense. So if he can continue to work on his D, I think he already has Rubles beat on the offensive side of the ball. Not knocking Rubles, but he was very inconsistent around the rim and hopefully by the end of next season and going forward clark can be putting up some nice stats for us in the post

Just putting this one out there.....maybe some of you are over analyzing his play off a random all star game. To say he is lazy would be pretty inappropriate. Lets wait til we at least see him in the summer league games to go into detail. Even then, he will be a freshman with typical freshman problems.

The game I saw from earlier this season, I wouldn't say he is lazy on D at all (or in any aspect of the game). Was he a little slow to react and out of position at times? Definitely. But then again, when you dominate every game whether you're in position or not, it's easy to develop some bad habits. Strength, conditioning, experience, and rise in the level of competition should all help him correct these things over time.

Based on what? 2 minutes of YouTube footage? I'm all for analyzing what you can off of not a whole lot of available video, but to say something as rude as that, it sure as hell better be accurate. And I can't imagine that it is.

WATCH THE ENTIRE GAME!!! Didn't like one bit that our All American in the game was basically jogging up and down court. I don't care nigga its all star game or not he was in slow motion it seemed entire game. When Yancy played against weaker competition he was lazy but in a all star game like that he would've dominated. I don't know if it was lack of interest or laziness its still a HUGE problem. Coming from small city like him I would've figured in big stage he would've played his heart out but that wasn't case. I still think he's going to be special at UC though he finished strong around the rim, has a VERY HIGH IQ, and he if picks up motor would easily avg a double double by junior.

Why wait until a rec league? He's either slow as dirt or lazy as hell in THAT GAME. He was jogging up down court 97% of time he was in game. He's not that slow because there was a possession he chased play down from behind with some pretty decent wheels.

Banned, please? It's been a long time coming.

Ever think maybe the kid was just taking it easy so he doesn't get hurt coming into college?

I think autocorrect changes that word to something else, not something else to that word...that word doesn't show up in a post unless it's put there.

The only way it could be autocorrected to that word is if you've typed it several times before so it is saved in the history. My phone autocorrects to my name because I've typed it several times, food for thought...

Yup. Blows my mind that my phone still gives me "ducking". Thats not even a thing outside of dodgeball.

Just saying that I doubt it was his intent for that word to be included in that message. I could be wrong, but...

I cant stand this guy. He does not live in reality when it comes to these recruits. Even worse than that he is too lazy to actually do some sort of research before he just spews his bullshit about them. Im all for differing opinions on all topics but this guy is so far off the grid its aggravating. I know I should just ignore all the asinine things he CONSTANTLY says but it just drives me crazy how blatantly inaccurate his opinions and posts are 99% of the time. Deep breath......
