I don't have issues with differing of opinions but they need to be respectful both ways. I don't like calling a kid lazy before I see them play and frankly if he is as "lazy" as Yancy and puts up 12-15 points and 8 boards a game, I'll take it. Please keep this on track and respectful.

I agree one-hundred percent. I got awfully tired of people laying the "lazy" tag on Yancy. People have to understand that some people, even athletes, have less stamina than others and tire more easily, whether it is cardiovascular, genetic, or just how they are made. No matter how hard they work, some people will never have the stamina (or "motor") that others have. It is obvious that Yancy got very tired at times, but he is a really big guy, and there is a reason you never see 270 pound runners winning marathons. My point is that there is a difference between lack of stamina and lazy, and I would never have used the term lazy to describe Yancy.

Does he remind anyone else of Shaq Thomas? I he expected to play the 3, 4, or both?

He's coming in to be a stretch 4. The 3 will be manned by Shaq and Sanders with the possibility of Stewart (if he comes here) and Morman (if we go small) taking few minutes. Morman is undersized for the 3 but is physcial enough and a good enough defender we could play brief stretches with him in there IMO.

We could have a great press if we had Guyn, KJ, Morman,Clark and Ellis together at times. Clark and Morman are so athletic that we'll be able to mix and match all kinds of lineups. Clark can be a 3 to go big and a 4 to go smaller and more athletic.

Shaq longs arm are deadly on press when he guarding in bound pass. Got to probably have him on your press. Clark foot speed isn't what you want in press.

I'm interested to see how his foot speed and conditioning looks for real against D1 competition. Sometimes high school high flyers are in for a rude awakening their frosh year. I remember the Morris twins having a lot of trouble picking their spots and getting comfortable as freshman, but then came back soph year with a better idea of how to be prepared for a full D1 season. I remember Markieff specifically saying he was too tired on the floor to dunk his freshman year.

I'm hoping Gary's working out everyday.

Thing is Chad NEVER seen Clark play a high school game in person. He's a reporter not an scout.

Its so weird that he posted this yesterday

I love Gary's game so much that I passed his name along to the coaching staff the very first time I saw him as a sophomore with only ECU recruiting him. He was never a 3, and will never be a 3. Let that terrible evaluation go. It's horrible in every way...

But thanks for letting me know who someone youve never met has seen and hasnt seen play

mmmkkkkaaaayyyyyy. Thing is. Chad mentioned just yesterday in a thread you were in talking about seeing Gary play as a sophomore . I copy and pasted What he said a few posts above. And then you throw out some off based comment about someone youve never met about their job. I dont even know why im sticking up for other people, probably because im tired of you spewing ignorance as facts
