I always imagine Titus rubles was a bullseye shooter in practice because he shot 40 3's for us in games and I don't think he made any.

Haha I remember Rubles making a couple in his first exhibition game and thinking he was going to be incredible.

He has good rotation on his shot and good arc. Remember how bad of rotation and arc Shaq Thomas had on his shot. I am encouraged by this video. If he is capable of knocking down wide open 3's they will be forced to come out on him.

Hopefully in a year or two he can develop a decent shot. Don't want him thinking he is durant out of the gates. Don't think the coaches do either

I have a feeling Shaq Thomas is going to be the player a lot of bearcat fans compare diarra too.

Diarra is 3 inches taller and plays a different position. Apples and anchovies...

Style of play has nothing to do with position, his style of play will be more like shaq thomas than a traditional 4 imo from what I've seen from videos and shaq was 6-7 and diarra is 6-9, isn't that 2 inches taller

I've seen Diarra play in person multiple times. The only things he has in common with Shaq is being black and athletic..

Thanks for the info on him. Appreciate what you do but For someone that hasn't seen him play in person, (Probably everyone in here except you), it seemed like a decent comparison. Most of us has to go off a two minute video.

I don't think looking at offense determines position in Cronin's style. He's 6'9" and long, so he will defend 4s easily. That's why I assumed he was thought of as a "4". The fact that he can be a stretch 4 is just icing on the cake.

Their games just aren't all that similar at all...

Never having seen him in person with just a few online things I kind of got a Daniel Hamilton(UConn.) vibe. I have seen E. Nsoseme play many times and although basically the same size, there is no comparison in their games. Diarra is much more of a finesse player and much more likely to help sooner.
