Cullen neil coaches son from new mexico got his release today, believe he can play right away with two years left. Not sure if we target him but interesting situation with father being coach. Said his son received numerous threats for his erratic play this season

I agree with another big juco or transfer but the other one has to be perimeter threat, we need somebody at least as good as Cobb.

seems like a good player but I want a big to back up Washington at he 5. A PG and another wing with he other two scholly's. If I can not get a PG I wait until the following year when will have a bunch of playing time to offer along with seniors Washington and Clark with maturing Cumberland and Evans. Next two years should be very nice for the Cats.

Yep if we cant get a pg this year and Jennifer doesnt improve enough to take over for post-troy, we got a ton to offer to a big time 2017 pg recruit who could take the rains to a great supporting cast (i mean senior gary and junior evans is very attractive alone throw in senior washington and second year cumberland and thats a lot to sell a PG on)....Tevon Duval?...one can dream

if Mick could land Duval that would be huge. Don't think it happens but like you said one can dream. Think he'll find someone good though.

It's probably because he's left handed too, but I remember being excited about Deshaun Morman...

Local kid who you use for bait to catch bigger fish down line. Would put more fans in seat on local level. More popular in city than both Yancy and kj we're. He's type guard you need to make deep runs in March. Has all the tools but size
I agree. We need every advantage we can get. I say get one good local walk-on nearly every year.

A little off topic but how do we let kids like Devon Andrews from Ohio go to Akron without even giving him a look....He looks like an absolute animal...https://youtu.be/B1NydiBZ7M4

Or VJ King who used to live in Ohio but moved to Virginia now committed to Louisville. I mean I can understand Louisville a little more but I dont remember us being in on either of these kids and both are in state and full of talent...

I mean I guess we offered VJ but seems like we offered him extremely late. You would think someone like him who was a top 10 recruit from Ohio we would have roots established with recruiting in the state and know about him before anyone else. Just is crazy to me we miss out on these kids all the time.

such is the recruiting game

I'm excited to see who we bring in. I'd imagine we'll save a scholarship to avoid having just a 2 man class at most in 2017.

Interest probably not mutual.

The players we want to get are not going to sit behind other players. You need to be able to offer playing time. We are set at the wings with Cumberland and Evans. Need a PG. recruits want playing time.
