2016 General Recruiting

Help Support BearcatTalk:

If nothing else, now Cronin can tell recruits that a school tried to break the bank to lure him away.
hes had offers. Nebraska, NCST and Virginia Tech. As I mentioned before Mick is well thought of Nationally by the people in the industry.

The reason I am in support of keeping him is because I feel if we can make some improvements to the facilities and get in a good conference he can elevate us to the level most on here want. If I didn't believe that I would say so. If we don't get those improvements it will be very difficult for whoever follows him to get the same results he is delivering now.

This UNLV thing is way more public than any of those others were. Plus, we're still in CBB season and without games til Thurs, this is a big topic.

I'm gonna steer this back to the other thread so this thread can stay 2016 Recruiting.

From Lexington, KY. We didn't offer but did recruit a bit:

Milwaukee forward Austin Arians will graduate and transfer, his father told ESPN. Averaged 11.4 points last season.

If this kid lost 75lbs he would be going to Kentucky or Duke. Would love to have this kid as a project.

Rehfeldt (SP) could Def make that happen. That guy is a muscle magician.
Only person that can make this happen is the kid himself. When I'm doing a competition I generally lose anywhere from 40 to 50 pounds in 6 months of training. It is on me to ensure the times I eat and what I eat is on me. The trainer can not baby sit him. It takes discipline and dedication from the kid. Trainer can show him how and encourage but he can do it for him.
