Missing Shaq's defense certainly hurt us with that match up. I'm hoping Evans will not only take a step forward offensively but defensively as well. It will also be interesting to see how Washington performs defensively. I think he will give us much more offensively then Ellis but defensively Oct was a good a
defender in the middle.
Evans can guard 1-3 and win most battles. Just was a freshman matched up against Sr

2016 Wings who aren't committed - that could 'help' right away - missing anyone?

Kostas Antetokounmpo - interested in StJ, Marquette, so seems feasible?
Tervell Beck
DeAndre Williams - AAC target of SMU and Houston
Antwan Walker

Beyond that - guys are ranked worse than Brooks so wouldn't say they're immediate help.

I like these potential guys. I hope one of them is the player to be named. Would ease my mind a bit headed into next season.

Hoping your right. Team was exposed last year by dribble drive penetration allowing guards to kick out for open 3's. I really don't think next years team will have trouble scoring. Our defense without Ellis in the middle will be a big challenge for Washington.

In the interest of not stepping on Chad's toes because I know how hard he works. I will only say that a current student (sophomore) told me it's a "long SF". No name given but a little more detail.

Hamilton and Brembry. We all liked Shaq as a person and he was decent of course at bball but never panned out the way we thought he could. I will tell you though, never thought I would miss him as much as we did the down the stretch mostly due to defensive.

I really hope this wing happens. Whoever it is. I would love to know a name and who we are up against.

Getting a taller guy who can play on the perimeter would be a god send at this point. It helps with depth on the wing at the same time gives us the ability to play more small ball if we get in foul trouble at the 4/5 (and our back up bigs aren't quite ready for productive minutes).

Would love a Wing and a Big. Really think the staff feels exactly as you mentioned. If our 4 and 5 get in foul trouble we are very thin in talent and experience behind them. In the Backcourt I'm hoping JJ takes a step forward. This would give TC some rest and also on occasion allow him to slide to the off guard. While I understand depth is a issue, isn't it nice to be talking about sub's instead of who our top 5 are heading into the season. We also have Broome and some talent returning for the next couple of years. Cats could be set for a nice run.

He would be a nice addition at this stage.

Looks like he's probably going to be considered a grad transfer, have a year of eligibility left and play right away. Anyone have any details on this guy's game?

Duh, bulldog could've told you he was long. Why waste time on wing without length

Heck if that happened what would we all have to argue about. LOL

Not sure why you think Evans leading the team in scoring is such an absurd prediction. I wouldn't say it's most likely, but could certainly happen.

Joking with Waite, he is in good company. When Martin said. when it is all said and done that Evans will be the best player. will put stock into what Kmart sees. Agree, he could lead in scoring.
