Rule states Grad transfers but obtain bachelor's degree and have at LEAST 1 year of eligibility left to qualify.

Correct. It is possible (but unlikely) for a graduate transfer to have 2 years of eligibility. Typically it occurs when a redshirt sophomore is able to graduate in 3 years and still have 2 years left to play. I don't know if it is likely that will be the case with the Martin twins.

FWIW, Caleb Martin has been favoriting tweets JUST from UC accounts. Isn't Twitter just great? This clearly means he's coming to Clifton, right?

Believe it or not, I do put some stock in that. It is not a guarantee but it definitely shows interest.

Yeah idk how possible that is but it is a little curious Mick is recruiting 3 transfers pretty hard. Given the fact they need help on the wing and down low next season you figure he would look for a guy who can help next season. Makes you wonder if there is some possibility of the Martin twins graduating early.

I wouldn't be so sure about the Martin twins HAVING to sit out a year. Reports have surfaced their family is pretty confident they will technically be grad transfers.

Do you have a link to these reports?

Something must have changed there because this is what their stepdad said when they first announced the transfer:

There’s a remote possibility they could graduate early and be eligible next season, Eure said, but it’s more likely they will sit out the year.

If you click on the quote you can see the article that the quote came from which was published a week ago.

Kyle Washington and Nysier Brooks will be much better than Ellis and DeBerry!

even with brooks playing in a very good league. The jury is still out on how a freshmen center will perform . I see Washington getting at the very least 25 minutes a game. Closer to 30 IMO. I dont see Brooks getting all of the minutes deberry got(albeit he didnt get as much as we all hoped he would get)

Brooks will have to get eased in like most freshman centers but if he hits the weights hard this summer i think he can contribute early and often, word is he is a shot blocking machine

Know it...Ellis was soft and couldn't make a point blank layup, DeBerry who i really liked just waited to long to get in shape
the reason DeBerry didn't get more minutes was that Ellis was much better defensively. Especially with the match up zone we were playing. Terrible we couldn't combine both of their skill sets into one player.

If Brooks can give us some under the basket defense and rebounding I will be very happy. I expect no offensive skills at all.

Wonder how big he is ,have seen him listed at anywhere from 6'8 to 6'10 and 200 to 235 lbs.

I've been pretty bored today so I've watched a couple of API's games to watch Brooks. Honestly, not too impressed with him. With our history of not developing big guys I am skeptical for sure.

While watching the games, I was really impressed with a kid named Billy Preston. I've never heard of him so I looked him up. 5 star recruit, 6'10. After seeing that I wasn't surprised. That kid can score in many different ways. How he is in the class of 2017 is crazy. He looks old and is built like an upperclassmen in college.
