Game is Tuesday at 7 PM EST. Didn't catch the TV. ESPN3? Local too? Dunno.

UCF is 11-10 overall and 5-5 in the AAC. In home AAC games, they beat USF (75-64) and ECU (89-68). They lost to Memphis (97-86), UConn (67-41), and Temple (62-60).

They are #162 in KenPom...#164 in AdjO, #179 in AdjD, and #200 in AdjT.

I think we'll be -9.

We haven't hit over 63 (in regulation) in an AAC road game in our last 15 tries over 2 years. Terrifying really.

Gonna be interesting to see how we match up against the 7'6 tacko fall and the 6'10 offensive line man Justin mcbride

the inconsistency of this team is incredible. We can look so good at times and so bad at times. This season will come down to if someone can step up and be a consistent third option to help clark and caupain. Ive currently accepted ellis for what he is, and im fine with that he doesnt have the skill to be a guy to go to in the post and get you a bucket. Honestly deberry is a much more skilled big man and deserves a lot more minutes than he is getting, id be tempted to start him. Its not going to be kevin because again it comes down to skill, not a very good shooter who occasionally gets hot and an average to below average dribbler, you just cant count on him (and man we where high on him coming into last season just has shown 0 improvement). So it comes down to cobb shaq or evans, when cobb is rolling we roll same with shaq and evans but when they struggle we look really bad. Those are the x-factors, they give us glimpses but are to inconsistent. Im counting on cobb to step up down the stretch a lot more than shaq and evans but im not giving up on shaq yet becuase we need him (truly is the ultimate x-factor for this team). With evans you never know what your going to get, he is in a huge shooting slump (definitely has some work to do this offseason but i like him).
As for quadri honestly shouldnt get in the game there is just no reason he should play in close games. And jennifer i just think lost his confidence and it will be hard to get that back for a freshman this late into the season. With that said it will tell a lot to see how they respond at central florida, a close game would be very dissapointing

I am pretty tired of this teams inconsistencies. There are no excuses that justify it, imo. The fact we haven't scored over 63 on the road in 2 years says a lot. I'm not sure who to be more frustrated with, our coaches or players. It's the same excuses over and over again. I am tired of trying to justify it.

Blaming the players doesn't make a whole lot of sense when the players have been hand selected by the coach.

Wouldn't it be nice if every year it wasn't the same old crap and we had a united fan base?? But the Cats will string something together here, have a decent finish to the season, make the tourney, lose early and we'll all be back here next year doing the same song and dance.

That being said, UC will win this game easy because these kids want to win and none of them want to miss out on March. Maybe the desperation of their current situation will lead us to more success than I'm expecting. The talent is certainly there for this team to be dangerous in March, I think the coaching holds us back though.

No it's not and we won't win out, we will lose ATLEAST one more regular season game and a aac tourney game and still get in....

I know Lunardi gets a lot of crap on his brackets, but we are in his next 2 out. We have bad losses to Temple X2 and now Memphis. The Butler loss isnt helping much either. Another loss to anyone other than SMU will drop us even more. So yes. Every game is a must win

I can forgive missing shots...it's going to happen. What I can't forgive is coming out flat. We were flat in the first half of Memphis and we got smoked. We showed emotion in the second half and cleaned their clock.

We do not have the luxury of coming out flat in any game. Even against the really bad teams we should want to blow them out and have fun doing it. It's something so easy to change...it only takes a couple of players (or a coach) to rev up the rest of the team.

If we play with high levels of emotion I don't think we can be beat in the AAC. What's it going to take?

That can't be true? I was told by some UC faithful, UC could afford to lose to Memphis and still be in.

But back to reality for those who live in it, It's just not the losses, UC really hasn't beaten anyone and it's catching up to them.

How sad is it that two schools who would be dancing and not going and UC is still on the outside looking in? Reality of the situation.

I watched the 1st half of the SMU game @USF on Sunday. They came out on the road ready to play. I'd love to see that from us tonight. We have to be the only team in the country to not hit 60 in regulation in a conference road game. I checked the games last night...in 30 D-1 games, only 3 of the road teams failrd to hit 60(Northern New Mexico, Quinnipiac, and Oklahoma State). We have to figure out how to get the ball in the hoop outside of our own gym. No way McBride and Tacko can keep up if we run for 40 minutes. UNC-Greensboro and Illinois-Chicago are the only teams not to score 60 @UCF this year. I'm not interested in joining that group.

Agreed, not sure if its a mental problem or what but they just come out dead on the road to start, that has to stop. These games cant be close, they need to blow these guys out from start to finish
