We'll have to agree to disagree here. If you play SK at the 3, you don't have to have two newcomers in the backcourt. You still have Guyn or Davis to match up with a newcomer. I doubt we will ever see two freshmen in the backcourt at the same time unless it's wash-up minutes.
I like Shaq and Sanders, but I'd have to be real with their expectations. Shaq had good moments last year, but doing it over 10 minute stretches instead of 2-3 minute stretches will be key. I hope they can carry the load at the 3, but we will probably have to rely on SK at times.
When you have five newcomers on your team, chances are you will have to be inexperienced on the floor at certain times. That's how kids learn. Practice can only do so much. Good thing is our schedule won't be as rough so these guys will have more game action to better themselves.
Davis is pretty much a newcomer as well he has never played a full season but we shall see when season starts. Good convo
