While I hate to look back giving up a 7 point lead on the road to SMU, either Temple game and the Butler game would be such a huge difference in our season. Oh well onward and upward.

It truly is great to see all the Old UC players get behind this team. Wonderful players to get support from.

The fact Kenyon went in at halftime is awesome. I hope he gets more involved.

FWIW, Hoard said it was the first time he has been back since he played. Mick said he lives in California, talks to him regularly and is raising his family but is looking for something basketball related to do.

Troy Caupain said Kenyon Martin talked to team at half: "Wish we could see him more. We're playing for guys like him." #Bearcats @FOX19

I tweeted Kenyon and told him we would like to see him on the other side of the court. What are the chances Kenyon would get involved with really working with our players?

The Kenyon Martin introduction may have been the single greatest moment of the Cronin era. About a 1-2 minute standing ovation, and I don't mean a polite standing ovation. This was a high decible display of love and gratitude by our fans. Kenyon bowing several times, with his hand tapping his heart many times. It was one moment that I'll never forget. That guy was a true Bearcat!.

By the way, he and Mel Levett were both heading toward the lockerroom together at half. It was amazing to see two of our most beloved Bearcats back in the house!

I love when former players stay involved. Gives the current guys something to live up to.

Great to see our new point guard tonight. Played with confidence. I predicted earlier today that Troy and Ellis would have a big game. Nailed it with Troy. Almost with Ellis. Still can't believe Ellis only gets 3 rebounds. One of the most entertaining games to watch all season. Effort was very good. Defense lacked a lot. If this is the Troy we get the rest of the season, the ending to the season could be good. .

It was great to see KMart at the game tonight. Who else was at the game?

I was 3 seats over from Oscar and saw Hicks, Blount, Brannen, Levett, Nelson, Myrick, Meachem, Meeker and heard someone say they saw John Loyer. Was one hell of a blast from the past...

I got a good laugh from Shaq in the post game video. A commemnt was made about a Memphis player's hot shooting tonight. Shaq kinda giggled, shook his head, and said something along the lines as, "everyone (opposing team) gets hot against us here." He smiled again and then said "it is what it is"

Just funny to hear an actual player come out and say it. I know for a fact a lot of fans, including my self surely feel that way.

Start around the 13:05 mark if you watch the video on GoBearcats.com.

The reality of the situation is we are not guarding well. Teams shoot well against us because we can not stop dribble penetration causing us to help to much on Defense and our rotations have been slow. Its also why our Bigs are always in foul trouble.

Teams have shot well against us and the ref's seem to have missed some calls but all in all we have done a poor job guarding. Even against the cupcakes I remember reading that we have been giving up way to many easy looks.

It is nice to play up tempo but we have to guard. Just trying to out score people will not get us where we want to go.

I guess that's the point. When you're in the bonus, you want to draw any kind of foul. He doesn't even try. It's not his game.
with his role of spot up shooter he is not going to draw a bunch of contact. But he also is running the PG when TC is rested at times and it would be nice to get to the line on occasion. A pump fake or some dribble penetration when someone is running at you. 14 times is miniscule for a guy playing more then 25 minutes a game. Especially with the emphasis on hand checking.
