Amazing that many fans feel that way. I guess you can't count on UC fans to have much basketball acumen though...

As someone mentioned the other day, Mick plays the guys he trusts. He obviously trusts Sanders. That will only become more apparent his SR year.

Just because I feel sanders isn't a starter on a team I believe can win the AAC doesn't mean I think he isn't a valuable role player off the bench. But I feel jermaine is a role player not a starter

I still have Sanders and Guyn as my Breakout players. Guys come to play when they realize its about to be over. When is Mick going to announce who was the off season workout warrior? Since end of season when he endorsed Lawrence I haven't heard him speak on players.

You dont show any love for clark either? Personally, my take, if sanders starts we are in trouble

Mick will start his veterans no matter what, so it becomes more of a question of minutes breakdown. If Guyn gets a majority of the point guard minutes, I think we are in trouble. I really wish he would've left instead of Lawrence, but Mick loves his defense. I am hoping that Cobb and Caupain get the majority of the PG minutes.

Caupain played more minutes than Guyn last year. I'd imagine he easily will again.

With Cobb in the picture, I'm hoping Guyn sees further minute reduction. He is so inconsistent and he just isn't built to play point guard. If he was a few inches taller, he would make a nice shooting guard, but he doesn't have the skills necessary to be a good point guard. Caupain showed promise, I am excited to see him next season.

Sanders had the best three-point shooting percentage last year. He also had, by far, the best assist to turnover ratio at better than 2 to 1. He had as many steals as turnovers.... Better than anyone on the team. It would be nice if he could score a few more points; he just doesn't shoot it often enough. A few more rebounds would be better also, but at least he's better than Shaquille. Per minute played, he fouled less than anyone on the team except SK.

If he improves as most players do in their senior year, I can see him getting a pretty good number of minutes.

I agree. Sanders isn't flashy but he doesn't hurt us when out on the floor. There are times I wish he would be more aggressive on offense but honestly I think he did exactly what Cronin wanted him to do on the floor. What I mean is I doubt Cronin wanted him trying to create his own shot. Some people get too wrapped up in someone's ability to take their man off the dribble and dunk on them. While that is fun to watch and see and yes you do need some of that type of talent on a team you don't need five guys out there trying to do that. Sanders got open and hit open shots and got himself in a position to rebound on offense. That is what Mick Cronin wants him to do. Add a year of maturity and physical strength and lose SK being the go-to guy and I think Sanders could have a good year.

clark 15 min a game between the 3/4 spots--- moore redshirt and cobb the biggest surprise of the upcoming year

Who will be the first person to have a 20 pt game next year? First double-double?

Hopefully Shaq really steps his game up next year. If that happens I would say he might be the first for a 20 pt. game. Honestly with the way the roster is shaped now and so many questions and position battles I wouldn't be surprised if no one got to 20 in a game and scoring being very balanced. History and logic kind of dictate that some players will step up and others not though.

I think DeBerry will be the first to a double double. If not then Ellis.
