Really like what we're seeing from the running game right now. Game could easily be 30-21 right now. Our defense is simply putrid and will not allow us to beat top 25 teams, but maybe we can win the games we're supposed to and come away with a 9-10 win season. Lowered expectations, but if we can manage to not get embarrassed in this game and take care of business against the Tulsas and Tulanes of the world, we might be okay. Still though, this defense must be one of the worst in the FBS. I don't think our defense is any better than Kent State's.

We need an actual defensive coordinator. There is enough talent on this defense not to get gashed like this. It looks like FBS vs FCS out there!

NTS it is not coaching. It's talent and depth. We are out manned upfront on both sides of ball. You give urban the tye of talent he gets at OSU and he'll gash programs our size all day. Our style of offense doesn't lend itself to shortening the game to help defense. We need more good players upfront.
