of course you are

Tuberville is and always has been a mediocre coach. He had one excellen year with amazing talent at Auburn but besides that he is very average. Since the conference we play in sucks too, UC will consistently win 8-9 games but never be nationally relevant again.

Had a good time making the trip yesterday despite the outcome. Game went about as I expected. I knew our defense was horrible. I'm surprised the score wasn't worse. OSU was getting anything they wanted on ground. Dropped passes kept them from making it worse. Gunner really impressed me last night. That last touchdown he hit you could see he checked a couple receivers before finding Moore breaking open downfield. Tells me he found a play and not just chucking the ball up on a designed play. I agree with whoever said we need some changes on the coaching staff on the defensive side of the ball. It's one thing to get pushed around by bigger guys, which there's not much you can do about, its another to not adjust to what's happening to you and to have such poor tackling. Three games in a row and we can't wrap a player up. I was proud of the team not giving up. That offensive pass interference was kind of the death blow. Especially since it was such a horseshit call.

And one more thing, after sitting in the upperdeck bench seats so far away from the action and hearing that people were paying upwards of $220 for scalped seats to watch their team (sorry Bearcats) play a non power school, I have even less sympathy for our pathetic fanbase whining about the upper deck at 5/3rd Arena. The seats in Columbus are just as cramped and uncomfortable and you are much further away from the action. And I was in the 8th row of the upper deck that went probably 30-35 rows up. Good fans support their programs, bad ones find excuses why they won't.

Game went pretty much how I expected. Giving up 700+ total yards is completely unacceptable. OSU isn't that good on offense, its mind blowing. I mean what is the point on even having a defense on the field. Other MAC schools play better defense than us.

To say the offense did nothing is incorrect. They averaged 9.1 yards per play. The offense was not the problem.

I didnt say the offense was the problem. I'm saying longer drives can help keep the problem off the field. How many drives did we have over 4 minutes yesterday?

How many drives over 5 minutes did we have in the 2009 12-0 year. The offense's job is to score points not keep the other team off the field. The defense is responsible for doing their job. Period.

Normally I agree, but our defense clearly isnt capable of doing anything. I get that they are responsible for getting off the field but they flat out cannot do it. If we are going to win games this year, we need to make adjustments. Obviously the big plays dont hurt any I'm just saying I understand why Evans comes in the game and I think it's smart to make every effort to eat clock with a running game.

Winning 8 and 9 games in SEC is hardly average. And the fact is he does has a 13-0 season. He is hardly average.

I completely agree. Tuberville is an excellent coach and we are lucky to have him.

I agree. I also thought he handled the post game with a lot of class. I love how he owns up to everything and makes no excuses. I loved his response to the bad calls the refs made against us. I surely would love to see some major improvement with our D as the season goes on.

Amen!! Some of the people in this thread need to get a grip. The talent level on our defense is miserable. I fully expect with time that Tuberville will be able to recruit a lot more talent on what is a very depleted defense at this point. After all, this is only his 2nd season.

LOL! You guys are funny. He isn't that good of a coach...since 2008 his record is just 36-29. Very, very average coach.

You can't just select a certain time frame and say that it settles everything. You said he is not that good of a coach. You can't just dismiss what he did at Auburn because it doesn't fit your narrative. That's like me saying the Reds are a horrible franchise because they were bad this year. You can't dismiss the Big Red Machine years and the 1990 World Series wins because it doesn't back up the statement that the franchise is horrible. Don't talk in absolutes and then use a small sample size to back up your statement. It doesn't make you look good.

Why are you Johnny Raincloud all the time? We still have a chance to win some big games and make a good bowl game this year.

Anyone who wants to know the reason they won and we lost hold your shift key and then hold the 4 key down as long as you can

Anyone watch the O$U game last night?! How in the hell do they get away with some of the most lopsided calls by the refs?! They had two game changing plays go to their favor that were clearly wrong.

First was the INT the refs ruled a catch in favor of OSU. The ball clearly hit the ground and the buckeye defender used the ground to catch the ball. That led to great field possession and an early touch down.

Secondly, the OSU field goal that should never have counted because they didn't get the snap off. We aren't talking about a millisecond difference here....it was a solid 2-3 second late snap.

On both plays even the announcers were speechless and had no words besides they were the wrong call.

What is wrong with the Big 10 refs?! Is O$U paying them that much money? I've never seen such bold cheating before. They didnt deserve to win that game.
