Had a good time making the trip yesterday despite the outcome. Game went about as I expected. I knew our defense was horrible. I'm surprised the score wasn't worse. OSU was getting anything they wanted on ground. Dropped passes kept them from making it worse. Gunner really impressed me last night. That last touchdown he hit you could see he checked a couple receivers before finding Moore breaking open downfield. Tells me he found a play and not just chucking the ball up on a designed play. I agree with whoever said we need some changes on the coaching staff on the defensive side of the ball. It's one thing to get pushed around by bigger guys, which there's not much you can do about, its another to not adjust to what's happening to you and to have such poor tackling. Three games in a row and we can't wrap a player up. I was proud of the team not giving up. That offensive pass interference was kind of the death blow. Especially since it was such a horseshit call.
And one more thing, after sitting in the upperdeck bench seats so far away from the action and hearing that people were paying upwards of $220 for scalped seats to watch their team (sorry Bearcats) play a non power school, I have even less sympathy for our pathetic fanbase whining about the upper deck at 5/3rd Arena. The seats in Columbus are just as cramped and uncomfortable and you are much further away from the action. And I was in the 8th row of the upper deck that went probably 30-35 rows up. Good fans support their programs, bad ones find excuses why they won't.
