Agree. Sadly, I don't want to hear anything that comes out of his mouth right now. All I hear is words but don't see any action on the court.

We will hear the classic line, "That's all I can say about the refs or I will get fine."
The constant " Mick vs The Refs" subplot is so small-time.
Anyone going??? Someone ask Mick about walking the ball up the court, and our refusual to play fast
I would love someone to ask him that. I bet he would indirectly not answer the question. Get defensive, make a comment about focusing on our defense. Things we can control. lol
whaaaaaat? Then why do we wait till the defense get set? If you can't get a quick score then back it out to run the offense and try to get a good shot. But why in the world would you not trying to get an easy shot first, I'll never knowCoach talking about how hard it is to go against a set defense all the time. And how much more likely you are to score when you push the pace. Hmm. I wonder if anything will be done about that.
He saw more potential in Scott than Moore, and Moore looked good enough in the preseason to take a chance to give Scott another year to develop. It is nothing against Moore, but coach knows he won't be a star so the sooner he passes through the program for a better option, the better. That's the way it goes in college basketball. My personal belief is he redshirted Scott over moore for two reasons. One it's harder to ask a sophomore to redshirt when he got to play his freshman year and two he'd rather have Scott four years going forward than Moore for three. Either would see backup minutes anyway, at least in theory to start the year behind ellis, Clark and deberry.
no it isn't the way it goes. Who in the hell besides Mick believes redshirt players are going to become stars. Sk was damn near 25yrs old grown man playing against 18-19yr old kids. I guarantee we top 15 still if Scott was on active roster. All we need out of him was fundamental hustling. He saw more potential in Scott than Moore, and Moore looked good enough in the preseason to take a chance to give Scott another year to develop.
