Great highlights, I hope Moore can improve his footwork and defense because he has probably the most mechanically sound shot on the team. It's so awesome to see big men drawing a foul instead of fade away jump shot or getting the ball stripped.
But mainly we need a new coach, he's just terrible ;)
Where's L-T ? Seems quiet since the game turned into a total domination.

A fade away jump shot or drive to the basket or dump it off to Clark. WOW!

Wow what a deal. Sad it has to come to that but a very nice incentive.

Apparently this guy is visiting on Saturday --> CeCe Jefferson

Couple that with the growing rumors that Big 12/big bowl people will be watching and the fact that this game is on ESPN w/ their A-level announcers and Cincinnati badly needs to get 40,000 for this one. There is a good chance that even I may be there!!

I believe he went to the same HS and is a good buddy of Mike Boone, possibly using visit to see him specifically.

Edit: He is bringing his mom and dad so sounds like he is giving UC a serious look

Did any body see this, I really believe he was trying to swat the ball out of his hand. Look at the replay.

He wasn't going for the ball. He was mad and he intentionally hit the guy the way he did. He made no attempt to try to block a shot, he lead with his elbows.

I think Mick has realized that match up zone is the best defense for this team. They get beat a lot to the basket on cuts and drives when they are in man.

Reading through the lines of what Mick is saying on the radio, and it doesn't seem like Strickland will be back...

If he leaves, I hope he goes to JUCO like Ellis did. He needs time to get into shape and maybe he can turn things around. He could be a productive player in 2 years if he has the right attitude.

L-T was at the game where he always is. In case you haven't figured it out, I will always be quiet when I'm at the game. I can't post and watch the game. But, thank you for thinking about me.

Two really good games and one really horrible game in the last three. Will the real team stand up? Very fun game to attend. Everyone played well. It's amazing how good the offense looks when the ball goes in. Props to Mick for fixing the mess we saw on Saturday. I think Stoney Brook is better than most people might imagine, and it was total domination. Defense gave up too many easy baskets, but I can't complain. I've been calling for offense, and the team delivered. Very happy with that performance.

Must have practiced offense for the first time this season on Monday...

OMG!!! You must have gotten a free ticket. LOL!

That Mick must be some kind of coach. Big improvement after just one practice devoted to the offense. LMAO!!!

Chad your wasting your time. As long as he keeps sending in his season ticket money and making donations we put up with him.

Am I right saying that the last UC player ejected was Ellis in the Xavier game?

Not sure but Ellis is my biggest fear right now...along with Morman. Morman and Ellis had a technical in one game already. Morman has already been in the doghouse for attitude. Ellis isn't very good with controlling his emotions AT ALL. He's not going to have a long leash given his history of anger issues. Morman looks like he figured out he needs to shut up and work hard and he will see the court but it doesn't look to me like Ellis has learned much. If anyone needs to be on their best behavior it is Ellis...and he's not doing that. Dissapointing. We need Ellis if we are going to have a great season...and I am afraid we might lose him at some point if he doesn't get his act together.

Welcome back Waite. You got a little quiet recently after a lot more people than just me started voicing some concerns. But yes, all is good in Bearcatland today. Outstanding game last night, abeit Stony Brook. That fact must temper our enthusiasm a bit, but I started to get a much clearer vision of the potential of this team last night, even though I've said from day 1 that I like this roster of players a lot. If Quadri keeps shooting like he did last night, I'll have to back off my "Mick doesn't recruit shooters" comment. He's been in a little bit of a funk recently, but wow...the potential of a guy his size being able to step outside and drain shots is exciting. He's also got good ball skills for a big man.

It was amazing to see Shaq come to life. I've stated a few times that this team needs Shaq playing well to reach its potential. As soon as he got a dunk, it was like the light bulb came on and he just came alive.

I also am getting much more excited by Deberry. This guy has a lot more skills and athleticism than we thought. I'm not so sure he couldn't be a solid starter on a lot of teams, but having the one-two punch of him and Ellis is a huge upgrade over our recent teams.

Still love Morman a lot. Caupain looked like his old self. KJ's shot still isn't falling, but his effort was off the charts. All-in-all, no complaints. Great performance. Mick is indeed a miracle worker.. Who knew? Just one practice and he had them shooting 100% from three at the half! Looking forward to this 3 game gauntlet!

That was such an exciting game to watch. Totally pumped that Tobler got in there and had his first career points as a bearcat. When the walk on comes in and scores you know it was a good game...
