Well this game has been fun. I hope they bring this kind of energy to Nebraska. Maybe that Ole Miss loss woke everyone up.

Better than the larosas I am at. They don't know how to work the TV system. Looked at me like I had 2 heads when I asked for fsn and then put on Fox news. Fml

hahaha damn, that is pretty bad. That belongs on ESPN's Come On Man.

I think only cincy and xavier fans know fsn exists so only cincy fans and ugly girls

Darn it deberry you only had two jobs be big and make shots you're only doing one of those right now

Terry asked Cronin about the foul Ellis committed. Cronin said he is in the locker room crying and he is going to go to the Stony locker room and apologize. lol Cronin always a class act. love it

We weren't perfect but I'll take it. We really forced some shots down low...but I'll take that any day over not getting a low post game at all. Great energy! Great win!

Stony Brook is probably the second best team we've played behind Ole Miss. UC was good on offense tonight...scoring 1.285 PPP while letting up just 83.9...

I like what I see from Ellis. Let's see if we can weaponize it against their best player but it had to be strategically time and only works once per game. Keeps their lead scorer out, and from that day his nickname at UC was Kamikaze. The shirts sell out instantly.

By far the best they have looked. Played loose and with energy. Do that every night they'll win a few games :)

First time poster here on BearcatTalk. Been viewing the website for years and I enjoy the interests and passion everyone here has for our beloved Bearcats. Some thoughts I want to discuss about the game.
1.) If Gary Clark develops any type of left hand he will be unguardable in the post. The young man is an absolute animal and I do not know how he did not garner more attention in NC.
2.) I also loved what I saw when we picked up the pace in the second half. Mick needs to find a way to get our guards going defensively to create that kind of energy if we are going to get any upset wins in December. Especially in our home games...I believe getting early confidence in these guards will result in point totals in the 70 to 73 pt range.
3.) Octavious Ellis. Come on man. But when he was in I loved his jump shot and of course his rebounding.
4.) KJ was solid and I absolutely love Morman. KJ really needs to be automatic at the line and I hope he can become that guy for us.
5.) Moore. Double edged sword with him. Watching him play offense is awesome. He can face up, hit the jumpshot. If you take the jumpshot away, he will drive and look to make a pass. Needs to work on passing on his drives but you have to love the looks his drives create. His defense is just plain bad. I can't tell if he is unable to play d at this level or what. Sometimes it looks like he isn't giving it his all in terms of boxing out. If he can work on that I believe he can bring a nice dynamic if Clark/Ellis get in foul trouble.
6.) Nice to see Shaq have some fun out there!
Go Cats!

I think a huge part of our success tonight was our ball pressure. We finally created turnovers which led to easy buckets. We need to keep that up to take pressure off our half court offense.
