Game is Saturday at 4 on ESPNU.

Tulsa is 8.5. Wins are against Central Arkansas (98-81), Wichita State (77-67), Ohio (90-88), Indiana State (67-59), Oklahoma State (66-56), Iona (90-81), Missouri State (70-61), and Northern Arizona (90-55). Losses are to South Carolina (83-75), Arkansas-Little Rock (64-60), Oral Roberts (70-68), Oregon State (76-71), and SMU (81-69).

They are #68 in KenPom (#82 offense and #71 defense).

I think we'll be -8.

Tulsa 63
UC 71

Tulsa's guards will have a field day with us. Unless a miracle occurs, they will drive to the hoop with ease. Once that happens our defense will over help, leaving guys wide open and Tulsa will shoot lights out.

If we don't come out and make a statement early, look for similar results as the Temple game. I swear, if our players don't play with a certain level of energy and heart I am going to go crazy.

Gotta go under screens for Harrison, and over screens for Woodard I think.

Jake we need to do a better job of our switches. One thing to watch in this game is how many mismatches Tulsa is able to create off our switches. If you see our bigs on their guards often scoring or going around them we are in trouble.

I just want to see intensity in this game...that's it. If we aren't fed up now I'm not sure we ever will be

I'd like to see less switching.

Which bad shooter on the season is going to get wide open corner 3's and get into a groove.

Pat Birt why not you, 31% on the season. Harrison will probably make 5 3's too.

It's really hard not feeling that way after watching every game this year.

Switching can be ok, but we have to take the opportunity to switch back when it presents itself. You're gonna get caught sometimes on switches sure, but when you have a change to switch back you have to take it. We haven't been doing that.

I was just looking at Fortson's stats as a sophomore. Holy crap. He averaged 12.5 FG attempts and 8.8 FT attempts per game. Clark is at 6.1 FG attempts and 2.7 FT attempts. I don't expect him to put up Fortson numbers, but I really wish he would consistently look for his shots. He needs to step his game up. He only has 1 double-double this year. Last year he had 3. I was expecting him to double that.

Tulsa is 251st in the country in Offensive Rebounding Percent at 25.2%. Shaq Harrison is their leading rebounder at 6'4'' with 5.4 per game (also leads the team in scoring and assists). I would like to see a rebounding margin of +8 or more.

Really would love to see a blow out early and something to get the fans faith back into this team.

Im not gonna lie, I expected to beat butler and Iowa state when I saw them on the schedule and certainly i didn't expect to lose Temple. Im a diehard bearcats fan and Im literally sick when they lose.
Ill be at the game tomorrow like always but if we get into a situation where we are down 2 or up 1 with 2 minutes to go, Im just gonna have to leave as I won't be able to watch them turn the ball over and blow the game.

If I have to see Troy throw a bounce pass to gark or ellis when they are not open/doubleteamed with under 2 minutes left and it gets stolen, ill probably go insane. Literally happened two games in a row, once when we were up 1 against iowa state with 1 minute to go (and its stolen leading to a 3 pointer) or against temple when were down 2 with 2 minute left and he does the same thing and it leads to another 3 to put us down 5.

I cant take that shit because its completely unforced, and thats what frustrates me the most: in all of our losses its been unforced TO's that put the game away. We had 5 in a row against X when we got the lead down to 5. I want to Troy to protect the ball like he does the other 38 minutes of the game.

But anyway, rant over.. I just want a 15 point convincing win for the fans

Troy throws the ball around like hot potato in crunch time. Has learn to keep ball and drive force refs make call. 6'4-6'5 not to many can stop him once he gets in paint.

Wish I had a good feeling about this game but I don't. Not sure I can withstand another home loss. If our players don't come out and play with aggression from the tip, there is not much hope for them. Already have 3 home losses is completely unacceptable. I want to see some good defense and low turnovers. Will it happen?
