Game is Thursday at 9 PM EST on CBSSN.

Tulsa is 16-9 overall and 8-5 in AAC. They are 5-1 in AAC home games. The loss came to SMU (81-69). Wins were against ECU (55-43), UConn (60-51), UCF (75-60), Tulane (62-48), and Houston (77-63).

They are #47 in KenPom...#53 AdjO, #59 AdjD, and #166 AdjT.

I think it'll be a PK.

We are a really bad matchup for Tulsa. I don't see how they get 60 unless they have a ridiculous shooting game. Like should be UC -2 but agree that it will probably open PK.

Cincinnati 64

Interesting matchup between the 2 worst 3pt shooting defenses in the conference. In the first game UC won that battle and made 12 3pt shots compared to Tulsa's 4 3pt shots. Thats a critical part of this name game is to hit the open 3's there D gives us but ultimately assert ourselves down low with Clark,. Ellis and Deberry however their 2pt% defense is ranked 52 in the country. Also of Note, UC's 2pt fg% defense is ranked #2 in the country where we allow teams to shoot just 40.6% on 2 point shots. Our defenses are very similar in that we stop the easy high percentage shots but in doing so get killed on the 3 ball. Another note that UC needs to defensive rebound extremely well as Tulsa does not offensive rebound all that well and I would have to see them in double digits in ORB against uc. If Clark and Ellis rebound like they have been, we should be fine.

If we stop Pat Birt from getting hot from 3 and just guard well with out fouling, we should win this game. We did it last year against what is essentially the same team on there side and a more improved personnel on our side

Its safe to say that we must have our best perimeter defense of the season. Absolutely critical to not let Birt and or Woodard get hot.

Its a tall order on the road but a fast start by us can cripple Tulsa.

Here's to hoping....

I am hoping right there with ya. We can not let Tulsa get out to an early lead on us. We have been notorious for this. We are simply not a team built to come back from deficits. We will have to have a complete game in order to win.

Huge week. Can't wait for tip off. Every game from here on out is huge. The success of our season is game to game.

Agreed, we must heavily guard the 3 point shot this game. Clark needs to have the ball in his hands in almost every possession. I have a feeling Tulsa will try to double team him in the post, and if that happens hopefully our guards will hit the open shot...if we can get the ball to them and not turn it over.

It's crazy to think about a year ago we were in this same situation - a must win at Tulsa. We would have to think we have the better talent and team I just hope we play well. Get back to the tough basketball we were playing when K-Mart was visiting.

Wow, did he really say if the Memphis game was played at a later time of day we would have won. Pretty lame right there coach. I saw another poor start on the road and your team wasn't prepared to play. I hope we don't see that Thursday or we will hear more excuses to why didn't win at Tulsa. No more excuses. Get the win or shut up.

That's weird bc right after that game he said the start time wasn't an excuse.

Mick talks too much.

I'm sure if he never addressed the media , people would say he doesn't talk enough.

I'm glad we have a very active YouTube channel with post game and weekly pre game pressers bc I've checked other schools and either the coaches don't talk to the media as much or the school doesn't upload it

Cobb will find his touch again. This game.
