I really thought things would be different tonight. So many wasted opportunities in that stretch where the game was tied at 45 for an eternity.

That was a critical stretch. We had like 4-5 defensive stops with nothing to show. At the same time that is when Troy got mugged and didn't get a call.

Should have went zone on that last play. Point guards can't really be a zone alone would have forced a bad shot. Man to man is exactly what boat right wanted to see

There's no shame losing to UCONN at home. It's a game they could have won but there's no shame in the loss.

Absolutely. We played hard and well....it was a great game on the road, still proud of how we played. Hopefully we go into the ncaa with chip on the shoulder

You can't blame Johnson. Ellis slipped on the crossover. Just bad luck and a helluva move. Davis should have had the defense double Boatright. I'm telling you if things ever start to even out UC has about 100 last second threes due their way.

Ellis shouldn't of been on him, period. KJ stepped towards him them backed off. Terrible D, no matter if it's on KJ or on LD.

But with how we ended the regular season, it is tough to accept.

Also this UConn team isn't very good this year. It would have been a good time to knock them out for once.

I'm being dead serious but are there any websites that shows how many times a team has lost on a last second shot/three pointer or has had a three pointer bank in against them in the past 25 years?

Oh, come on, same story with X happens to us. Teams just get incredibly accurate unlike any that have come before? I'm not the religious type but damn if that doesn't look like a divine power does not like us. That or we fell into a Disney movie where every other team believes in themselves at halftime and we're the bad guy every time!

That doesn't mean he wasn't lost. Especially on the final possession!
He wasn't lost. He was guarding the guy at the top of the key. Now that doesn't mean he couldn't have left him with a tick or two to double Boatwright or at least get him to give up the rock but that is a tough spot and the slip by Ellis killed us.

That banked 30 footer and the no call on Caupains drive put UC behind the eight ball. That said they tied the game and had a chance to go overtime.

I told my wife with all the threes UCONN was making as the shot clock expired and the bounce right into Brimah's hand for a put back, it just seemed fated. Cannot believe that No call on the Caupain drive.

I mean I don't know if it was a coaching mistake or a player mistake, but it's a pretty big mistake to leave Ellis 1v1 on Boatright on the perimeter. That's a nightmare scenario.

They made one more play then we did. On to the Dance.

By the way this lame conference has the defending National Champion in it.

Hated to lose. Cats played hard but just didn't get it done.

I remember the West Virginia banked in three in the NCAA that beat us. The Arizona three quarter court three. De'Sean Butlers three just to name a few. It has been uncanny.

I'm not ready to move on yet, more booze and angst then I'll be ready.

The way the committee screwed the AAC last year I'm very worried we may get screwed out of the tournament despite the fact that we are a supposed"lock".

Someone sold their soul for those 2 NCs 50 years ago and now the devil's come to call collect.

Its so much fun being a Cincinnati fan. The black cloud is constant.
