From Savino on the radio: The staff thought UCONN would use Brimah as the screen man for Boatright so they put Shaq on him. UCONN noticed it and used Hamilton instead. That created the mismatch with Boatwright and Ellis. Smart move. Im off to take a bath and drop a plugged in toaster in the water. Wont be in as much pain as I feel right now. Jesus this season's losses have been brutal.

Again tough loss but a positive was I saw something in TC tonight that I hadn't seen before. He hit the big 3 and drove the lane 3 times, twice getting mugged and the third time hisenetration allowed the put back by Shaq.

Also that's the hardest I've seen Shaq play all year.

Hopefully those two will grow from this game and it helps us in tourney.

I feel you. I really really hope this doesn't screw UC after the way the commitee did SMU last year. I will probably go buy a gun

Hurts to much to see positives right now.

If this loss pushes us off the 8/9 seed line then I would feel much better about it on Sunday. Much rather have a 10 or 11 and avoid the 1 seed.

KJ had nothing to do with that. He could have double but that would of left his man open.

The way UConn played the last 13.5 seconds was awful in it's own right. They took WAY too much time getting the ball up the court and basically forced themselves into that specific shot. Boatright isn't likely to ever pass in that situation (watch the end of the memphis game where he forced one of the worst shots ever with 2 guys standing wide open) but I'm not sure he would have had time to pass and them get a shot off. And even if they did, it stops Boatright from beating you.

we had our biggest defender out on him and he slipped. If he doesn't he has to shoot over a guy who has a 7 ft wing span.

Waite he did not slip. He got crossed the F over by the best player in the league. That was not what we wanted. Ellis vs Boatright has nightmare written all over it.
