I believe Rubles arrives in town in 2 weeks or so and I did hear he was going to play. Haven't confirmed that but it is what I heard.

I did! Chiek looks good! He is slimer and runs the floor well! He still needs work on the O. Rubles likes to drive and is a good athlete!

Rubles is not 6'-8" as listed. More like 6'-6" in my opinion.

I don't see him making much of an impact this upcoming season. Got burned on defense alot.

When did guys in the summer league start playing defense? Summer league = street ball

Mple is right. He looked much smaller than billed yesterday and struggled against goodies

He did have some nice drives to that basket

Not worried about any of that right now. Team defense is far different and Mick will work on that. If he's quick and athletic he has the tools to be a good defender. It is VERY common for guys to be listed 1-2 inches taller than they are. Mick believes he can help or he wouldn't have a scholarship.

This is no slight on Rubles, because I agree with you about it being street ball.

But there are some recruits in high school who realize that defense is a priority for getting minutes in college ball and work harder at it than others.

And we all know that the only Bearcat newcomers that will see minutes are guys who play defense.

my biggest concern is that i heard rubles is thinner than jackson.
