sometimes guys have a hard time blending in with their teammates. Especially when some have been here for awhile. Not saying this would happen just discussing. 3 schools in 5 years is a red flag to me. I could be worried about nothing.
yea it maybe the cart before the horse.For 1 year, and considering we've been looking really hard all spring for a player exactly like him, I say it's worth the chance. But for all we know he may already have a school in mind. We can discuss it more if we show up on his initial list.
We have recruited him before.Given the 1-year, instantly eligible status, along with the makeup of our roster, I can't imagine Coach Cronin doesn't at least reach out to him. But who knows.

i think they would love to have one this year for depth but it has to be the right fit. Most guys worth taking all want major roles. With our starting 5 that will be tough to promise.That was my first guess. I honestly don't believe Cronin and Co. Will even reach out to him unfortunately. In 10 years, they just don't show genuine interest in grad transfers.

White would start over Kevin Johnson or Cumberland. It's not even close. Evans could play the 2. And if it came down to it, White would start over Evans as well. He seriously would very well be the most talented player on the team. If our staff didn't even bother reaching out, they should all be fired immediately. I'm sure they already have though. I think you're either overrating our starting 5, or underrating how good this guy is. But he'd start and possibly lead the team in scoring.

Cumberland will be better THIS year? If so, sounds like a one and done. And I love Evans, but he wouldn't have had his name called last week either. Not sure why that's such a big knock on White when compared to our players. But if you say Evans is better, then I guess we should be expecting gigantically huge things. Bc White is older, went through the draft process, and shot like 42% from 3. Evans didn't make the AAC Freshman team. So hopefully he made up a ton of ground these last few months.

Evans is better right now. Much more complete wing. Cumberland will be better in time. You willing to slow his development and potentially piss him off by seriously cutting his minutes for one year of Andrew White? No thanks.
White doesn't have a release yet. Reaching out to him at this point is a violation. Will they? Maybe. Will they promise the 30 plus minutes and everything else that will be demanded of his new destination? You know that answer...
