Waite I have every f***ing stat in the world to back up my point.

The thing about "on ball defense" is there is no stat to point to that can confirm. But I can point to steals, blocks, turnovers, points, rebounds, etc. Those are quantifiable stats.

I think we all agree KJ is a good on ball defender...but nobody can relate that to points so it's not a winnable argument. Which is the only argument Waite has right now.

And like I said earlier (and got no response), if Cumberland's on ball defense is a concern, he doesn't have to play up top where he's most vulnerable.

So its all on KJ. How about if he shuts down the opposition best guard. Would that be of value? Guys enjoyed the banter but I got to shovel the snow before the wife gets home. Go Cats!!!

I think "shovel snow" is code for... I'm at a loss for words. last week it was "raking leaves"...lol! "Prune the bushes" may be next:)

I'm just jerking your chain Waite...haha

Yah...we can hide him on D if we want. We have switch help. I just want to watch the offense run for a while when he's in there. Even if he doesn't score I would like to see the flow.

Speaking of no response. Waite loves to trust coach on everything...but coach was wrong on Evans and Cobb...and I'm not sure it's debatable. A lot of the fans are doing what we do now... suggesting a change...or at least give it a try. A lot of the fans were right about Evans and Cobb. Coach was late to the game.

I remember when someone (probably Waite) was saying we could not start Cobb and TC together because of foul trouble. We had guys averaging 2 fouls a game and we were worried about it? Anyway, we started playing them together and the team was better.

Fans are gonna speculate...but coaches have to make the best decisions. They don't always do that.

That was Waite. I was very hard on the other side bc that was about the time I realized Johnson couldn't play a significant role at this level...2 seasons ago. And here we are today. No conference championships in the meantine, 0 AAC Tournament wins, and 1 NCAA Tournament win. But let's just keep doing the exact same thing. Smh.

The funny thing is...the very first game Cobb started with Troy we got into foul trouble...lol! But never again for the rest of the year. It was a fluke occurrence. I don't like coaching based on low probability events.

Cumberland- T Scott- Evans all look comfortable and natural when playing- Quadri-KJ- Shaq all look indecisive, scared' lack of confidence I'm not exactly sure what word i'm looking for but it's obvious when you watch them.

I also think T Scott needs to be in the game a lot more- he does not turn the ball over- he gives good help defense around the basket- he rebounds and just hustles like hell.

Now you want to hide him on defense? Who do you think this guy is? He is a freshman that has limited lateral quickness and is searching to adjust to D-1 basketball.

What's your point? You aren't answering why that's not an option. How do you expect him to adjust from the bench?

And why again doesn't the guy in front of him have to be better? You're talking in circles.
It's my opinion his defense offsets anything we have gotten from Cumberland at this point. You think otherwise. I'm fine with that. Take a breathe there Jake.
