Quick (and open) 3 by Caupain led to a rebound by Tulsa and an out of position defense + easy basket. Not saying he should have turned that shot down, just an example of how a quick offense by us can be used by Tulsa to start a run.

Especially for the Bearcats, game flow is important for the team defense. A quick (and poor shot) often makes the defense play poorly.

I get what you're saying, but this is a "get right" game for us. Our goal today is to play as hard as possible from start to finish. Tulsa is no threat to us.

That's easy to say now that there's a 20+ point lead (partially thanks to slowing the game down) but Tulsa was a bucket away from making it 10. Imagine if the game sped up, Ellis and Clark pick up with 4th personal fouls and sit until the 5 minute mark. It's a different game. Just saying this was a game for a few minutes there.
