Quadri. Love it
Played hard 28-32 minutes today. Need more focus on playing hard 36-38 minutes. Guards need to crash boards a little harder. Troy extend where he catches outlet pass. With no pressure we should never take longer than 4seconds getting across half court. Shaq, Evans or Clark should always be out in front of the 1-2-2 press. Teams with better skilled players will throw it right over press with little guards for easy layupsMick has been very consistent about this season being up to the players. I think maybe they're starting to figure out the whole being accountable on both ends thing.
The other night, I said we needed 4 things....more fire from Clark and Ellis, a return to production from KJ, and Jenifer being a contributor again. All 4 happened. KJ had his moments, but more of his moments were good than bad today - not by a lot, but at least 60/40 good. That's a start. Ellis and Clark played more aggressive, but we still need more offense out of those 2. Jenifer was outstanding and was screwed by Mick on his play time. He looked like the guard I liked so much in November. Quadri was a bonus. He was singled out by Mick as having his best game as a Bearcat.
The last time we looked good was when we had the 10 man rotation prior to SE Louisiana. Today, the 10 man was back and so was the team we saw in early November. Coincidense? I don't think so. This team's make-up sets up better for a deeper rotation. I would stick with it. Mick won't. But he should. I still believe we need Clark and Ellis doing more offensively and an above-average KJ to make this season potentially special.
I thought Clark, Cobb, and Moore played well considering their capabilities and limitations.
I'm not sold on 10 man rotation but I hope we can. That be said we play it more as a product of already being up comfortably in the game rather than playing 10 men being the reason we are up. We were up 15 which allows us to do that. If we were down...it would have been a different story probably.
Clark had 9 more rebounds than our next best player...with 14. I think Jacob mentioned he also had 4 assists. Cobb looked deadly again but also created his own shots. Moore looked pretty good tonight. ..had a couple travels that were questionable calls.

We play well and bust it open...then we see significant minutes from all 10. That is the cause and effect. ..it's not the other way around. I don't think we have seen a game where we have broken it open because we ran 10. SE Louisiana was the first cupcake that kept it closer than comfort.
KJ and Shaq are teams wild cards. Less Shaq made him look a lot better. Just wish both would slow down and use their athleticism more
Well, we certainly have zero evidense to support the 8 man rotation being the answer. We have 3 home losses, and a bunch of other close games. We've seen Caupain spit the bit in the clutch in our losses. Is it fatigue? Are you telling me that those 8 players have been so good that it's just too big of a risk to play Jenifer and Quadri? Come on now. By just about everyone's opinion, Caupain is our absolute best and he has folded up when it counted, not to mention his consistently poor shooting. I have no problem mixing those other two players into the rotation, keeping fresher players on the court, and helping the defensive energy and the offensive pace. If we had real stud players, it would be different, but we don't. Go deeper and try to wear the opponents down with our depth.
