I'm so glad Gnomey is gone. I hate coming on here thinking there is more recruiting news or news on a committed player and having to read through all the debating and self-promotion.

I am surprised more people are real excited about Nyarsuk joining the team. After watching some highlight reels he looks real good for 7'1. I mean I know we have had our share of tall foreign big men not equating to much but this guy seems way more mobile and coordinated. He will def. contribute, and if he could give us what Biggie gave us his senior year we will benefit greatly. Obviously Nyarsuk isn't going to be a center where you throw the ball to him on the block and watch him make a move and score but with our guards spreading the floor and driving, we could get him some easy baskets. It looks like he knows how to finish around the rim.

While on one side I am excited to get David for his size and athletisicism, on the other I am wondering how he will perform and adjust to D1 the tough non-con and the BEast.

With that said I believe that he is as good as Obekpa right now. I know his numbers aren't gaudy but he was playing against NAIA no HS. It is a nice stop-gap with Ellis leaving. Not expecting more than a 7 and 4 guy.

I hope you mean 7 minutes and 4 fouls.
