I never stated a desire for Huggins to return you little troll. Spend more time creating your new ids and less time making up facts.

Okay Mr. Buckeye. Ohio State fans are so afraid of UC they have to spend their time on UC websites trying to put the Bearcats down.

UC is the # 1 basketball program in Ohio. UC is the only Ohio school with 2 NCAA basketball championships.

Whit needs $150 million to renovate Nippert, you got it to donate?

I don't know what your comment has to do with his. You always talk about how you are the almighty UCATS member, don't you have an extra $150 Million laying around, Ralph?

I agree with Eternal E. Mike Thomas hired good coaches. That was about it. I like Whit's approach much, much better and I think he will do a better job with the fundraising aspect.

Thomas brought in good coaches. Whit should be better at creating an environment (i.e. increased fundraising & rennovations) where UC can keep it's good coaches and provide a platform to foster growth.

But if Thomas had whiffed, Whit wouldn't have the opportunity to focus on fundraising now.

So, while Thomas certainly wasn't an all-round genius, what he did was put the school in a much better position to raise funds.

I'm with you. I think Thomas did some great things here, especially with his coaching hires. I'm glad we had him at the time. Now, our focus is different and Whit is a better fit as we try to capitalize on our improved performances.

Thomas came in and did what he was asked to do; provide stability to the program and make solid (also very safe) hires. They don't call him MAC Thomas for nothing. Now that UC has moved beyond that point as a program, Whit is the perfect man.

And to Ralph, at this point the Shoe is the focus for renovation. But yeah, I'd be glad to donate that $150 million.

Have to agree with Ralphy actually for once. Whit Babcock just issued a statement about the renovation of Nippert. 5/3 is secondary.

5/3 might need it more, but the potential for increased revenue lies much more in a renovated Nippert with added seats and luxury boxes, so I would say that Nippert is priority #1 at this point.

Love to hear this from our coach.... the future is bright.

After rebuilding the University of Cincinnati men’s basketball program to the point where it has made two straight NCAA tournament appearances – including an appearance in the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2001 – it’s only natural that Mick Cronin would receive inquiries from other programs.

Cronin said this week that he has received a few calls, but paid them no heed.

“It lasts five seconds,” Cronin said. “They call my agent. My agent calls me and I tell him to get me a lifetime deal at Cincinnati.”

Mick is easily a top 2 coach in the country and will easily be one of the best all time.

We are lucky to have him. All the negative nancies from earlier this year have been proven wrong once again

He said the same thing before he bolted for the Ville.

Please give me an offense to watch next year and I will have no complaints.

He also said the same thing about having a more explosive offense after LS and DV left. Not hating just stating facts

You are hating. Please go follow huggins at wvu. Enjoy those second round losses. Mick is a much better coach than huggins

The fact that anyone holds this against Mick just shows how clueless they are. Mick would not be the head coach at Cincinnati if he stayed. Go back to rooting for your beloved O$U.

Not too sure about the accuracy of your first sentence but you are easily one of the top 2 biggest trolls in the history of message boards.

UC misses a ton of open looks. The offense gets shots when they run it and don't dribble around. It's incumbent on the players to make them.
