I'm dealing with it just fine. I attend every single game, will attend the league tournament in Memphis, and if we get an NCAA bid, I'll go there. If , god forbid, we get an NIT bid, hopefully we, get a home game and I'll be at that one as well. If Mick had more fans like me, these sites would be a lot different. That's the problem!
I wasn't insinuating you are not a good fan because you would like to see a coaching change. In fact those who are passionate about improving the program are usually the some of the best fans.
I was simply saying it's not going to happen this year or next so having these "get a new coach" debates now are kind of like wishing for a million dollars to show up in your pocket. I don't think there is any way it can be productive for our team or the program right now because we have a lot of games left. I am not telling anyone what to do but I think these conversations are better left toward end of season (if it should become a lost cause) or even after the season.
Yes these forums are about opinion but nobody in here wants to settle for mediocrity. We all want UC to be great. Some are confident it won't happen with this coach and some still think it can. Both sides want UC to be great...so equating not wanting to get a new coach with settling for mediocrity is just disengenuous. I am not in either camp right now...still on the fence. Seen some good trends and some bad ones.
