Terrible coached game by Cronin , which is consistent in close games. Lots of complaining to the refs where the calls were obvious. One thing stands out to me in this game, a lucky 3/4 court shot. This team doesn't deserve the tourney bid right now as it sits.

What was the strategy? I don't get it. One of those two has to be in the game at all times. Out of all 40 minutes. One of the two have to be in the game at all times every game. What was going on?

Mick tried to be cute. It's overtime FFS!!! There are going to be breaks in between plays, reviews, fouls, etc. Under no circumstance would I have taken them out AT THE SAME TIME?? WTF. WTF. Still shaking my head at that.

Our luck on top of late game un-awareness is the main reason for most of these late game losses. Our guys have been making the unfortunate plays 3x worse with out lack of understanding of late game situations. This includes Mick. I.e. Jacking up 3s, missing free throws or missing the rim all together. This loss really hurts the tourney chances.

Why didn't Shaq Thomas go for a putback early in OT? Instead he throws it away 30 feet from the hoop. Unbelievable that as a 5th year SR he does some of the things he does.

I think it's over. We get more out of Washington and Scott than Ellis and Thomas. Cobb doesn't do much if he isn't hitting 3s so Cumberland fills that and Brooks and deberry will be a wash but at least it's a freshman. I'm over this year can't keep making excuses

Only way to salvage the season will be to win the conference tournament. That's honestly how I feel right now. I don't know if I can take more of this...

As always I think the season should play out, but this is the first time I've ever felt that Mick being fired would be justified. Just an atrocious job he has done this year and it adds to the very mediocre years in the past. If they stay in the AAC they should keep him, but if they end up going to B12 and they still suck UC should probably move on.

It feels this team is incapable of playing intelligent basketball in late game situations. Gary, free throw violation. Troy, can't execute an on-purpose missed free throw (one of the worst attempts i've ever seen, that doesn't even fly in a game of 21) Ellis, misses four layups late in regulation. Shaq could've made it all the way to the lane when he intercepted the pass, instead shoots a fadeaway three.

100% agree. He's made some really bad in-game coaching decisions this season. I don't fault him for all the losses, but I don't know what he's doing at times.

SG/SF have been a black hole for most the year. How is a team suppose to be successful when 2 out of 5 positions don't contribute on a regular basis.

I realize Cobb has a high percentage from three, but he's really a one trick pony outside of an occasional floater and doesn't play great defense.

KJ has next to no offense game. 36% shooting percentage from the field, 32% from three, and averages more turnovers than assists. It's unfortunate, b/c he plays great on the ball defense.

Shaq, seems like a great kid, but best of luck finding work in basketball post UC.

At least Evans is a freshman with some real talent, he needs to be more willing to pump fake the three and attack the rim.
