I'd like to see two full games of effort before I go too hyped up.

Hopefully the team is on the right track from here on out.

I agree but I am going to choose to be optimistic. It may make me an idiot later, but if so, oh well.

Me too!! I understand where SWG is coming from though. We should be able to score against Providence. Again, Bishop will be asked to stop a great scorer.

I agree. I remember the Notre Dame home game last year where he brought it for the entire game and shut down Harangody. He came out after that game and said he practiced hard all week, watching tape on him and wanted to have a good game. Then he disappeared. I was happy for his efforts against Louisville, but I might be the one fan that didn't give him that extra applause. I honestly was pissed that he was still on the team after his efforts in the DePaul and St. Johns games coming off a suspension no less. The season is roughly 35 games long, I want to see you play hard more than 3 or 4 times.

Well, I still believe. There was an attitude change in this team during the offseason. I still think this is a different team than the previous two seasons. I love the way they're rallying around one another. I like the talk of accountability. I think they will play hard and becompetitve from here out. It is easy to get complacent when you're blowing people out by 20 every night. The fact that this team recovered from Yancygate and the St. Johns loss says a lot to me. It says a lot about the respect they have for one another and the Head Coach. As I said, totally understand the skepticism, but I believe.

I hear you and I've been optimistic all season. Gates has been the thorn in my side, though. I completely agree this is a different team attitude-wise. I will say that last year this team found a way to rally around itself in the Beast tourney and hopefully the Louisville game is the start of this years late-season bloom.
