GREAT GRAB MICK!

Great pickup!! Awesome to see.

2015 is shaping to be another solid class, guys. Basketball season hasn't even started and we've already got everything we want for next year. Now Cronin can get ahead of the game and focus on strictly 2016 and beyond. Love everything about this! Welcome, Jacob!

Alex Kline ‏@TheRecruitScoop: Strong addition for Cincinnati in Jacob Evans. A developed body wing who can shoot, slash and make plays, he fits Mick Cronin's system.

Chad Brendel @ChadBrendel: Jacob Evans gives #Cincinnati a power wing that can score at all 3 levels. Cronin prioritized after big showing in Vegas at Fab 48 event.

Great job by Mick and the coaching staff, dare I say they have some momentum in recruiting. Great day to be a Bearcat Fan!

Wow! This is awesome news! Our staff has worked so hard on the recruiting trail and now our 2015 class is so solid. This is fantastic. Go Cats!

SG Jacob Evans (@jacobevans_23) has committed to Cincinnati. In time he can be an all-league player in @American_MBB .Skilled, IQ, W/ size.

Jacob Evans is listed as one of the "trending" topics in the Cincinnati area at the moment on Twitter. Very cool to see the fans excited about this kid, and the overall future of the program.

Great job by the coaching staff! From the videos I have seen it looks like he has a very smooth shot.

Kid recently turned 17, he's still young. Love the potential. Also this moved us up to the 29th ranked class on 247, may be even higher on the new espn ones coming out soon

Just read an article with his hs coach saying he played him at point for his first 3 years. Since he has grown so much he is moving him to more of a combo guard. Over the summer coach said he has been working hard on his 3 point shooting, which he has been deadly.

Coach also went to say how much of a basketball junkie and a system guy Evans is. I love hearing statements like this. That is one thing Cronin does a great and consistent thing in recruiting. He gets tough, gritty, hard working guys who want to play in his system. We are just now starting to see the benefits of that.
