It looked like you posted it, why would you even post it if you didn't condone it.
23 point beat down, must be nice being a bearcat fan. Would you now consider an NIT appearence a success for the season?

maybe bc its relevant to the thread and people that didnt watch the game or missed the replay of the fight bc so much was going on need to see what a stupid thing yancy did? Kinda hard to see who hit who in the middle of a scrum w/o slow mo replay

If that's the case, I apologize. However, when someone just posts that, with no comments, you leave it up to us to interpret what you meant.

Kingsley I want to thank you for showing us all that the Xavier team we saw in the game and during postgame pressers is a reflection of their fan base.

You're welcome. Sorry I came over here and bashed UC fans about the huge blowout, on a message board. People seem to take message boards way too seriously, I can't stand the "win with class" crap fans give on message boards. Especially after a rivalry game. Especially one with a huge brawl at the end, with one of UC players throwing a cheapshot punch, and another stepping on that player. Next time, I'll come over here with respect.

That's just Tu being Tu.

From trying to attack the officials after a Butler game, ripping the water fountain off the wall, throwing a punch in the game last year, taking trash all game today to players/coaches, and to finish it up with put them in the f'n body bag and we got gangsters in our locker room.

One of the biggest punks in the country.

classless people usually can't stand that.

Just so we are clear, I'm not talking about when people say win with class when you're actually in public. I'm talking about on a freaking message board. Seriously?!

so no rules on a message, board? no need to be civilized or have class? I'm not one to hide behind a message board and think it's cowardly when someone does. a true good person acts that way all the time, whether in person, or otherwise.

As embarrassing as the end was Mick Cronin made me extremely proud to be a uc fan with his post game interview. What class and understanding Cronin has. Unlike the other coach who condones he players acting like prison inmates, Cronin wow'd everyone. I am glad uc has Cronin teaching our kids the important things in life.

I can agree with this statement. He did a great job of handling the fight topic in his post game. He deserves some credit for that.

He should still be fired for putting such a crappy product on the floor. Dear Whit, please fire Mick.

I would say a message board is very, very different. It just depends on the way someone approaches a message board. For you, you approach it the same way you would in real life, I don't. Especially after a heated rivalry game.

I would say he deserves more than some credit. He handled the post game very, very well, IMO.

Give me a break. I was trying to give him a little credit. The more important issue is how we played, not the fight. Hence the need for some credit. Just a little bit though.

They should take him out to a nice dinner as reward for how he handled himself, and then fire him after the check comes.

Stupid fight aside and Micks bitching about the D again....

Out gameplanned, out coached, out played

LOL, I wish we had those laughing icons. Classic.

I don't feel like his job is in danger, but if it was, the way he handled himself after the game could have helped his case. If he handled it differently, he may very have been coaching his last year as a bearcat.

What does coaching have to do with it?
Kilpatrick can't make shots, Lyons hits contested 3's, Cashmere can't make shots etc... Those are examples of players just not making the plays. That's not coaching. That's either a lack of effort or a lack of talent.
Chris Mack is not a good coach. Anyone saying that, I challenge to name one thing specifically he does better than most.

Cronin can't put the ball in the basket for them, if they don't want to do that, maybe some of them need to lose their scholarship all together.

looks like frease took a nasty shot

When they were winning last year, you saw a transition game.

Wasn't much the transition game that got us wins over Missouri and Georgetown in the second game. It was more us crashing the boards as a team and going to the hole with authority, as opposed to laying it up for people to block. That half assedness was what cost us the Marshall game.
Hard to transition when you can't rebound the damn ball on D. How many offensive rebounds did they get the last few minutes of regulation? ...
Also doesn't help when you can't shoot free throws, and give up the alley oop, multiple times.

Dear Butterflykisses,

Indiana came from a worse situation than UC. Baylor had teamates murdering eachother and they are in better situations today than UC.

When you see similar play from year 1 to year 6, it is not just players, it is the coach. People keep saying easy layups were missed. Ok that made up for about 8-10 pts. As a whole, the offensive sets are not effective.

Defensively, Mick wants to bitch about them. Well, I saw Dixon guard a man at the top of the key. The man he guarded passed to the wing. Mick's defense expects Dixon to guard not only the guy at the top of the key, but also the guy his man passes too. Its an impossible philosophy

Everyone refers to last year. Last year when this team was winning they had a press and a transition game. Micks purpose of a weak OOC schedule was to get these young guys experience. He failed! and it shows against crappy and decent teams so far

Dear steadyhomo, (what's with the names all the sudden? Keep it about the game)
I repeat, we made a single 3 pointer all game.
How many points was that? Why don't you lump that onto the missed bunnies and let me know how close that makes the game.
Also, regardless of one play(which did not decide this contest, or any that is decided by 23 fkin points btw) the defense requires a level of commitment from players that is constant. Look at the first ten minutes of the game and look at the rest.
You can't possibly tell me the defense was equal at all times, if you even tried you'd either be develop mentally challenged or blind.

Do you remember how long they were stuck at 2 points?
And yet look how many they scored total. If that doesn't speak to poor execution on the players part, I don't know what does.

As for IU, no. They have had Crean for awhile, and better recruits than us, so that's a $h!t comparison on your part.
