JJ rubles and Shaq had mismatches in post today. We have post players, might not be 7'but they all above average in post. Again, make it MANDATORY they you go up for dunk around rim in traffic.

All due respect Jeff we get the overachieving stuff. Problem is we were better than this. It's as if we were playing in a different dimension. If they would just Play to their capabilities we are singing a different tune. It's mind boggling to watch some of the stuff happen. I'm very disappointed and can't for the life of me understand how we can be so flat and non responsive

Very disappointing way to end the year, but it was still a great year. The improvement in JJ and the leadership of the seniors was something to behold. SK will be missed and will be my favorite Bearcat EVER. I just feel bad that he could not end his UC career with a deep run in the NCAA's. His legacy though will be the work ethic and the 'Bearcat way' that he left behind. I predict that they will be better next year than they were this year. The offseason will allow Lawrence and Shaq to gain strength, and Caupain and KJ will take the next step. Morman will be an impact player, especially on the defensive end, and they will have some big men that can score when they get the ball down low. I am hoping they add Graham, and if they do, it will round out the roster. The future is bright.

He was conference coach of the year. His peers think he's a pretty good coach and you said you watch games for a championship? UC won one this year. And if it's for national titles, you would of stopped watching in the 60's.
 
ALL THESE NEGATIVE ABOUT SANDERS AND THE TEAM IS DAMN HORRIBLE SANDERS HELPED THIS TEAM ALOT ON DEFENSE AND ON OFFENSE SANDERS IS A PLAYERS THAT NEEDS PLAY CALLED FOR HIM AND TO ME WHEN PLAYS ARE CALLED HE IS AT HIS BEST. IS IT HIS FAULT CRONIN CALLS NO OFFENSIVE PLAYS AND WE ARE NOT A OFFENSIVE TEAM THAT DOES HAVE SHOOTERS CAPABLE OF MAKING SHOTS. Back to my point...THAT IS A PLAYER PERFORMANCE ISSUE, NOT A COACH ISSUE. So again who on the bench would you have put in?

Today, or in general? I'm not sure you could have replaced them. That was a big issue. Of course it's still the coaches responsibility to keep developing them. Rubles just never got it and why he was still shooting outside shots is beyond me. That's an automatic turnover but Mick gives him the green light. I don't think Strickland would have helped much this year, if at all. I'm not sure how much he'll help next year, but he'll probably play by default. UC did have a big man burning a scholarship with Dave. No offense to him but he should never have been given a scholarship and who knows who UC could have gotten with that scholly.

The posts about Sanders would be inaccurate. Guyn, however, accurate. He would be lucky to start for the team in Highland Heights yet continues to eat up valuable minutes for the team in Clifton. I'm bewildered by this. Offensively or defensively it doesn't matter. He is not productive.
 
What I hate is that a coach and team we've praised all year is getting trashed based on one game. It's just ignorant.
 
Stop arguing. Its a tough loss. Period. Cronin ain't perfect. The team was subpar. It happens. I'm super pissed coach didn't make more adjustments. I'm mad not one damn person made a tough shot. Every time we couldn've gotten the lead or a tie, we bombed. Don't argue with eachother. Successful season is measured differently person by person. Or atleast respect eachothers opinion, no bashing. All of us are ticked right now. We need to heal chapmans face anyways.

You would be correct Jeff but it's inexcusable for a player with their experience to not flush on guys when givin the opportunity. Lots of opportunities to flat out dunk on someone today and nobody did.

Rubles is good for what he does but for whatever reason Mick liked him.dribbling over Shaq. Rubles and JJ should never start together unless Rubles is playing SF.

Mick does need to take more accountability when we lose. This game wasn't the refs fault, it isn't because we didn't play defense, etc., it's because we weren't prepared and still have no offense. Part of that is talent. Mick has done a lot with little talent, but the offense struggles are so painful. We need to bring someone in to help with the offense, it is just unbearable at times. Again, he is just the coach and he isn't the one on the court. He did a lot with this team, but I just wish our offense would have progressed, not regressed. We just peaked at the wrong time...,

That one game always comes down to the last game. Every year. Get your asses ready, have some intestinal fortitude, and absolutely deny anything to stop you. I didn't see that and it's disappointing. It's easy to be a UK fan and it's easy to be a UL fan. Being a UC fan is hard and takes the life out of you.
