Hometown: Rosenberg, TX
High School: Lamar Consolidated High School
Height: 6'8"
Weight: 210 lbs.
Position: Power Forward

Ultra athletic PF who is also a lefty who can slash to the basket and finishes very well in traffic. Plays with a Justin Jackson type energy on both ends but like JJ he needs work on the offensive end. He can hit mid-range jumpers but low post moves aren't great and can extend his jumper a little bit. Is a very good rebounder and a already very good defender.

Has offers from: Indiana, Kansas, Texas, LSU, Marquette and Baylor among others.

Hearing Mick is coming in a little late on him but likes this kid alot!! I don't see him in a bearcat uniform however because Kansas is a very strong leader for him.

Just to give everybody a little idea of what his game looks like......

Not impossible to sign him but gonna be hard he really likes Kansas and they really like him. IF for some reason Kansas backs off or doesnt have an open spot then Baylor would be the team to beat.

Mick going hard for him but Kansas may be too much to overcome. Look for UC to end up offering a scholly to him IF they feel they have a chance.

From that youtube video, he doesn't look like his offense needs work. Dude can shoot from everywhere. He would be a nice get. But UC always falls short on these guys.

His offense looks good on highlight videos yes, however from what I've read of him on scouting reports he lacks consistancy on his shot and makes bad decisions sometimes when slashing lane

By all accounts UC is late to the game on this guy. It is a long shot for him to land at UC. This isn't an instance where UC falls short or is beat out at the final buzzer. Mick is trying to switch roles here and come in and snag a guy at the end.

Hearing if Kansas drops out of race because of scholarship situations that Baylor likes what he brings and will push hard for him but that other than Baylor the other schools who have offered him have rather conceeded to Kansas and moved on or filled that need with another recruit. So if Kansas doesn't sign him it MAY come down to Baylor and Cincinnati depending on if Mick is still in the mix and hasn't signed someone else.

I have been leery of this supposed "recruiting insider" on this board who doesn't post articles or any other references about a recruits interest in UC or vice versa.
