Spread is moving down to -3.5

I want it packed too. I know that sounds dumb but really. We need to learn how it feels to play in real tough atmospheres it can make us better. We can handle it. We got this.

But the Temple band is very loud. And its not fair for them to be that loud. We lost a football game because of this

What? Why? We're the road team. The quieter, the better.

They guys get more pumped up for the game with big crowds. just my opinion id rather play a road game like this in front of a loud 10000 compared to an empty quiet 5 and I think the players def want this too. Gives the big time game feel us against everyone and our guys feed off that. Can come out flat on road in empty gyms imo

I don't care how many are there...I just hope they are quiet for most of the game. If they are loud that won't be a good sign that things are going our way. Whether it is 5K or 10K...they will be loud if Temple is playing well against us.

This is a huge game for the cats, not just because it's the first conference game, but a win here solidifies us in the top 25 I think for the rest of the season as long as we don't drop two games in a week. There is a lot of potential for teams above the cats to lose this week. I'm guessing 3-4 will lose this week, which will get the cats To crack the top 20 and give us a little buffer from falling out. There's no worry about our second game this week so we gotta get it done tonight, keep this winning streak alive and keep climbing those polls. GO CATS!

Agreed... This game is a big one for all of these reasons and more. Conference title hopes, top 25 polls, NCAA seeding, confidence, good road win, etc.

Need to make a statement! We have enough veterans so hopefully we don't get rattled and start the game strong.

Put me in with the guys who want a small quiet crowd.

Sure. It will make UC play harder possibly to start the game. Yet, I've seen many a comebacks that were fueled by a home crowd.

UC's Marshall comeback was fueled by the crowd, UC's loss to Rhode Island was fueled by a couple big plays by RIU then the crowd got into it and fueled on their team.

Against Temple, a team we struggle with, I'd rather not have the crowd help them out. I mean UC had some seriously slow starts this year at home against bad teams because they were playing in an empty quiet gym.

Were already playing a team that has more top 25 wins than we do, Why also want to play against the crowd too?

Cronin in pre game interview said it's a good time to be on the road while students are on break. Takes a little away from their crowd.

Agree! Top 25 West Virginia has only one loss
Top 25 Florida State has only one loss
The intersection of that Venn diagram is Temple - they don't need any help

They may not be great but they are dangerous with those wins. They also know how to beat us.

All the advanced metrics are on our side but I'll be surprised if UC wins this game.

Man,I've been thinking this all day. I don't see us winning this game, even though IMO, we should. Just seems, this game, like all our other big ones, will take a life of their own, UC will have some terrible offensive possessions, and Temple will hit timely and some lucky shots.

Sounds about right, right?!

Last year, we lose the Iowa State game
Last year, we lose the Marshall game

maybe the karmic wheel has turned and the Cats sit in a new position.....or maybe the Cats are 3-4 points better than last year
